2024-05-30:- I went to Theradynamics for an initial consultation regarding physical therapy for my wrist. I did not return for follow up sessions/appointments (i.e. this was my only appointment). During my visit, they kept asking me to sign a form that states what services I received that day. I kept refusing as it read like I should sign it after receiving services where they would check which services were provided. Eventually, I signed it because it was awkward. Note, here the form was not filled out on the physical therapist side (i.e. services that I would receive were not checked).2024-06-14:- I received bill for service received on 5/30. The invoice only has a description of "Service". - I send an email to ************************************ asking for clarification. - I receive an email back with the same invoice.- I explicitly ask for exact services and CPT billing codes.- I receive another email with itemized services received. I notice two lines that I have questions about: 1) SELF CARE MNGMENT. I was not sure what this entailed. 2) THERAPEUTIC EXERCISES. I believe this to be a billing error as I did not perform or was not prescribed exercises in my session. It was an initial consultation and evaluation. The physical therapist even said that next time we will start doing exercises. - I respond to the email asking clarifications about the two items above, and do not get a response 2024-06-20 - Still no response. I send followup email.2024-06-24 - Still no response. I send followup email.2024-06-28 - Still no response. I send followup email.- I received a billCustomer Answer

To treat an arthritic knee Theradynamics said an evaluation would be required. I had the evaluation and a physical therapy session was scheduled. I underwent the physical therapy which didn't really help and decided not to continue with them. I paid them $40.00. Now their claiming I owe them an additional $40.00 for the evaluation which I was never told about beforehand. They charged $259.12 and my insurance paid them $219.12 which wasn't enough for them and haven't stopped sending me threatening letters to pay them $40.00 or risk harming my credit. Also, they got more money from my insurance for the physical therapy visit. I'm getting tired of their harassing me and threatening me my credit will be ruined..Business Response

i received physical therapy from Theradynamics and paid a co-pay each visit. The Physical therapist won't see you for your appointment until your copay is received by the front desk. I have receipts for every payment.I continue to get statements from the company despite them confirming receipt of all payments. I have tried to call the two numbers for Billing they offer on their website and the statement I received in the mail. I cannot reach anyone on those numbers and have left my number to be contacted, to no avail.I did receive an email from their Billing employee on January 16, 2024 (see below) but am still recieving statements indicating $40 balance and stating next step is to send to a collection agency. I have requested via email over 10 times for this to be corrected, again to no avail.*** Fan *************** <**********************************>Tue, Jan 16, 12:40PM to me **** ******** **** ** **** *** ****************** ******* **** *** ** *** *** *** ************* ** ************** **** ** *** ***** ****** **** ** ************* **** * ********* **** ** ******* *** **** ******* ****** ********** *** **** ** ***** *** *** ** *** *** ******** ** ************** ****** *** ** **** ** *** **** *** ********* ** ******** ***** *** *** **** * ***** *** ******** ********** ******* ** ** *** ******* ********** ************* ************* ****** *** ********* **** ** ********************************** ** ************************Customer Answer

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Theradynamics Physical & Occupational Therapy regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I didn't want this to continue given the number of emails and mailers I was receiving, i paid the $40 they claimed I owed. The billing department kept giving me different explanations, when i addressed one date they said I owed for by providing a receipt, they then came back to say i owed for a different date.
I do hope you look into this for the benefit of others. Again, i didn't want to deal w/ a collection agency over $40, so just paid.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

The business continually makes medical appointments for "therapy sessions" that I didn't schedule and call with reminders of the appointment. I'm sure they are charging my insurance company, I have informed them via voice mail, since the never pick up or call back as they say they will, that they are to cease making appointments, and take me off their call list, and the continue to make appointments that I have not made. I recently received a bill for ***** from them when I only have a 20 dollar co-pay which I paid the second time I used the service.Business Response
