Unprofessional and incompetent. After taking over management of my building, they falsely claimed on three statements in a row that I had not paid my monthly maintenance. They refused to admit their error and correct the record when shown legitimate proof of payment. I paid the balance in question a second time while spending my own time during business hours gathering evidence that my payments were valid. Once proven, Maxwell Kates made no admission of wrong doing, did not return the second payment, merely applying it to balance of future payments. Representatives on their email sent mocking responses proving they had been aware all along despite silence. Now, they have failed to collect a building assessment in a timely manner, costing the building a month's interest.

There will be no phone call. Your staff have ignored many emails on this matter. So now you can answer publicly. If you are sorry for my experience, why do you place the burden of proof--twice--on the overcharged customer? I sent you a reasonable $200 bill for my time spent during business hours proving, again, that you had falsely billed my for 3 months running. If you are sorry for my experience, pay it. I stand by my bill and my review until you publicly state that you were wrong to overbill me for three months running and wrong to refuse addressing the issue privately.
