I want to cancel the renewal of my automatic renewal on my subscription. I too, have contacted numerous numbers given, spent over an hour calling & researching how to get ahold of them, emailed them at the appropriate site & have not heard back. They say to call *************. When I call, it gives web sites or tells you where to email & then, HANGS UP! I HAVE emailed & got no answer. Because of this, I will NEVER go with SI ever again! I have been trying numerous times to cancel my subscription to Sports Illustrated and receive a refund on the unused portion of that subscription # **********. To date all requests have been ignored. Mailed check to Sports Illustrated Kids to renew subscription for 100 copies for each released magazine for one year. Mailed check on 12/26/23. Check in *** of $1604 was cashed on 3/6/24. I have proof from my credit union. Sports Illustrated was sold to ************ in March I believe. Have not been able to reach them by mail, phone, or email. I Sent several emails. I have not received any issues of Sports illustrated Kids even though my existing subscription had not expired. I ************** letter to ******** address on May 22nd certified mail. They recd it May 28th. Frustrated that I cannot reach anyone. They have my money. I want issues of magazine or full refund. Please help.Business Response

I have a subscription to Sports Illustrated and have not received the last two issues (May and June). I have emailed the company six times about this and have received only form letters promising they will contact me in return. I sent a check of $75.00 to Sports Illistrated for renewal of my subscription on 11/1/23 ! My bank got the check back on 11/16/23 ! I haven't got a magazine in 2 months . I tried to contact the company which is now run by ************** I never heard from them . This is not the first time this has happened to me by this magazine ! The *********** is sorry to hear about your issue with the Sports Illustrated ************* purchase but you have reached the wrong company. Our address is incorrectly on the Sports Illustrated BBB page. You need to reach out to ************ or ********************** (ABG). Those are the 2 companies running Sports Illustrated now. Please ask the BBB to move your case over to ************ or ABG for you to get resolution. The *********** can not provide any information as the company does not have the right or access to any customer data or orders. That screen shot is not from an *********** website it is an ABG sponsored website. Once again we are sorry to learn your magazine has not been delivered yet, but please check with ABG or ************ for more information. We apologize that the BBB page shows incorrect information. I have not received my Sports Illustrated (SI) ************* subscriptions. Ive already paid for multiple subscriptions through the next couple of years and *** made many attempts via emails/calls/socials to contact anyone from the company to resolve this but nobody responds. *** tried contacting both SI and their parent company, ************ no response at all! The organization did not mailed the May and June issue of Sports Illustrated. In addition, I try to contact them by phone at ************** on June 1 and June 8. Both time they hung up the phone on me. I don't appreciate this time of service at all for a customer who been with the product for over 30 years.Business Response

The Arena Group is sorry to hear you are having issues regarding your Sports Illustrated subscription. Unfortunately this complaint has been routed to the incorrect company. The Arena Group no longer manages or has any rights or access to Sports Illustrated customer information. We realize this further delays a response to your issue and are truly sorry for that. We know this may be frustrating for you. The phone number you are calling is an old number that is no longer working. It is automatically disconnecting after the message is played it is not a person answering the call and hanging up. The Arena Group can not help with this issue in any way. If you still have not heard back from Minute Media, I suggest you try writing or contacting **************** Group (ABG). That is the owner of the Sports Illustrated Brand and whom Minute Media manages SI for. They may be able to help escalate your issue to Minute Media. There address is *************************************************************************, NY ********** the phone number is **************. You can file BBB complaints to ABG directly as well. We hope your issue is able to resolved soon.
BBB Admin, can you please update the records for Sports Illustrated to remove The Arena Group from the complaint routing and switch it to Minute Media or ABG? By sending these complaints to The Arena Group it only delays a response for the customer to receive real help from the responsible businesses. I have written to the BBB and asked for this change to be made and it was acknowledged it would be updated but we are still receiving se of these issues.
