Forbes has continued to charge me unwanted monthly fees. I do not use their service and did not intend to be a subscriber. I have explained this to them and they refuse to refund payments. Their customer service has ranged from elusive to arrogant - especially the message from senior director *****. The only way to hear from them at all is to repeatedly email them every day.Business Response

This customer has been a ********************** membership subscriber since October 2022.The customer contacted us on March 19, 2024, regarding the monthly membership subscription charge.
They claimed that they had canceled their subscription, and that we keep turning it back on, which is not true, we cannot and would not do. It was explained to them that the monthly membership subscription is non-refundable. Out of courtesy, we issued two months of refunds but explained that we would not issue years worth of refunds. (See attached cancellation policy)
Additionally, the customer recently contacted us, again, about receiving our updated Subscription agreement, they inquired to why they received it since they had a canceled subscription. It was explained to them that the notice was a legal announcement, and we were obligated to send the notification to all registered customers regardless of their subscription status.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Forbes has shown a constant pattern of evasion Their business relies on sticky subscriptions that are hard to cancel.
Please let the business know that they can ignore me but the next step will be a suit in small claims court
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

On March 27, 2023, I paid $49.99 for the Forbes Unlimited Articles Annual Plan. I am unable to access articles, and instead am promoted to subscribe the the $49.99 membership I already paid for. I have contacted Forbes at least 4 times via email seeking to address this error. Only twice have I received an automated reply serving as confirmation of my email. One on April 6 (Ticket Number *****) and one on April 12 (Ticket Number *****). The email states I will receive a response from the support team within 24 hours, but I have not received a response nor has the company resolved my issue of not being able to access the content I paid for. I expect to be granted access to the digital content I purchased a subscription to and for Forbes to correct the purchase date of my subscription to reflect the date I am actually able to access the content. I have attached screenshots of the membership confirmation email and both ticket confirmation emails.Business Response
