I had placed an order for a dishwasher through katapult and Lowes. It was shipping from this company w appliance company llc. They sent me shipping updates and it shown it was supposed to be here around beginning of August. I paid a processing fee off *****. The shipping said it was in *********** and then it was sent back to supplier. I never got any reason or anything. I contact katapult and Lowes. They both told me it was damaged in shipment and that's all they know. I have attempted to call the w appliance company and left several messages. I have not heard anything and I still do not have my item. I was forced to make a payment of $123 on September 1. Still no dishwasher. I just want this all canceled out and my money refunded.Initial Complaint

I purchased a ************** ****** BTU portable AC on 10/20/2023. Beginning of May 2024, the compressor stopped kicking on. 5/14/24: I called the number on the manual & opened the claim. From here we switched to email. This call they said they would send me an email with my Ticket ID# ***** and I would have to send them proof of purchase. I also sent them the model and S/N as requested after. On 5/15/24 in email they sent me the shipping label and said it may take 2 weeks upon receiving your item for a replacement item to be processed and shipped. After then, I purchased a box large enough to ship it back as well as shipping paper to secure it. Per the tracking, they received the item on 5/24/24. I followed up on 6/13/24 and got no response. I followed up via email again on 6/21/24 and again got no response. 6/25/24, I decided to call since emails were going no where. They indicated they saw that they had received my unit and they will list it as a priority in their system and if I had not received a tracking number by 7/3 to call them back.7/3/24: I still had not received the tracking number, so I called back and they again said they would list it as a priority and to call back a week later if I hadnt heard anything.7/10/24: I tried calling. Their menu had changed and it now states to text your ticket number to them. I did at 1621 on 7/10. As of 0630 on 8/12 while Im typing this, no response. I also called and stayed on the line twice to speak to a representative, and both times it hung up once it clicked over.My credit card has denied the dispute (likely because it was a warranty issue, not Amazon). Supporting documents submitted to them are the same as the ones I'm submitting here. At this point, I feel I have exhausted all options. I just want the $206 returned to me. Given that I live in *****, I was not going to go an entire summer without a replacement unit, so due to being ghosted by this company, I purchased a new unit on 7/12/24.Customer response

I purchased a ************** mini refrigerator through Amazon. The fridge was defective - freezer melting water into the refrigerator. They replaced it. Same thing happened with second fridge. I have been waiting 2 months for a replacement. NO help at all. They keep saying they are working on it but I have not received a replacement. I wanted to be refunded or given a different fridge but they refused.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Black + ****** compact refrigerator from Amazon on August 15th, 2023. It stopped working and I submitted a warranty claim on July 26th, 2024 which still falls under one year warranty. Case number is ********. I have had no success in getting resolution to this problem. I tried to call their customer service number ************ numerous times and nobody answers. I also tried to email ************************ and nobody answers. THIS COMPANY HAS FAILED TO HONOR THEIR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. I am requesting a return of my $144.62. This is poor business practice and totally unacceptable! I do not want store credit as I will not buy any more Black and ****** products.Customer response

I purchased a portable Black and ****** air conditioner thru Wayfair. It worked for a couple months and compressor went bad ,so I called the number in the booklet *************) and received a return label. They received it. When I called they said they would process it and be notified shortly. I forgot about and a couple months passed and contacted them again and they said oooh ya that should have been taken care I will put you on priority and you will be contacted with shipping info. A couple weeks pass and I call again and said that shipping would have to get me tracking and in a few days would have an email. I looked on your site and see this same situation over and over again. So please shut this business down as I am sure I will never see my air conditioner. ThanksCustomer response

I purchased a Black + ****** ****** BTU Portable Air Conditioner on Amazon.com 7/13/2023 for $521.75 which was defective. Said unit was returned for replacement per manufacturer's warranty on 9/1/2023. Turn around time was to be 2-3 weeks. I have had no success in getting resolution to this problem. Promises of emailing me with updates are not forthcoming. THIS COMPANY HAS FAILED TO HONOR THEIR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. I am requesting a return of my $521.75. They have been in possession of my returned, defective unit for over 3 months. This is poor business practice and totally unacceptable!Customer response

I purchased a ************** portable ** through Amazon and the compressor quit working. The B&D ** booklet gave a phone # to contact **************************** at W ********************** Co. ************ When I called the number, I was told to check my email for instructions. I followed them to a tee and sent the ** plug, proof of purchase with Amazon, label from ** with SN# and Model#. Sent to ******************************* at W Appliance Company, LLC, *************************************************************. I have proof of delivery. I called the ****. Svc. # again and they told me I would receive the replacement ** within 2 weeks. That did not happen so I called again to ask for a tracking number. They said they had no tracking number and that when it ships, I will get an email with a tracking number. Each time I call, I get a different person who's English is very poor and they seem to all have a different story about the **.Customer response

I purchased a black and ****** portable AC which from the beginning made a odd noises. As time went on it has gotten much worse. It is so bad it will wake me up at night. I sent my first email on 6/27/23 to Black and ****** support. They responded and because of the model that I have she referred me to a specialized team. I never received a response from that team when I emailed them so I emailed Black and ****** support again. They again emailed the specialized team and referred me to them. The team emailed me asking for details about the model and my information. I send them the information they requested and again I have not received a response back. My last email to them was on 7/26/2023, again with no response back.Customer response

I purchased a ************** portable air conditioner from Amazon on July 31, 2023 and it was missing parts. I called ************** Aug. 7, 2023 and was told the parts will come between ***** days. It is now Sept. 22, 2023 and Ive called 3 times and each time they say theyre going to send me an email with a tracking number. They never did. I even sent an email to support and *************************** responded saying she sent the ticket #***** to the department who would take care of it. She also gave me the phone #*************. I called the number and its the same people Ive been dealing with. I would like the parts: remote control, air exhaust hose connector that goes into window bracket, and the metal locking screws for window bracket.Customer response

It's been over 3 months since requesting a warranty replacement. I keep getting the run around despite calling over 10 times asking for my replacement or replacement tracking # to no avail. AVOID Black and ****** products at all cost, No customer service and doesn't stand behind warranty..
