      I have had the system since 2019. I bought it online and it has worked great. The photo doorbell battery does need to be changed within 6-7 months, i thought it would last longer. But the video camera and the leak puck is solid. Runs well and i like the activity feed. Called customer service once when i needed help with setup. They called me back within a day. They also ended up helping me get an insurance discount, which was surprising and awesome!

      I Ordered the Kangaroo doorbell camera, First they overcharged me twice for the security plan. After I called them they did issue me a refund. It will take a few days to show on my bank account. After set up, I could not receive any stitches, just a black box, then image could not be uploaded. I called again and the lady said she would upgrade firmware. And to reset it after 30 minutes. Still did not work. Called again and the man sent me receipts of the banking refunds, I will wait to see if this is actually refunded.He said there was no record of the firmware upgrade, so he would do this and told me to wait about an hour and check the firmware to see if it went from **** to ****, I waited 3 hours plus, no firmware update. Went to the Kangaroo site and it stated the firmware should be ****. They are selling outdated merchandise that does not work. They sell the doorbell and chime for $39.99 on the Kangaroo site which included the $23.88 plan for a year. What good does it do if it does not work. Then they push trying to get your home insurance company name to get a discount for having hone security.

      I had purchased the 1st Kangaroo camera and loved it. Had no problems whatsoever. customer service was great too, always answered the phone and knew who I was and what unit I had. But then they developed a new and 2nd camera and it didnt work, the people did not answer the phone nor call you back despite their "Live Agents 24/7' which is UNTRUE. This is now a horrible company with horrible products and the worst customer service out there. I am sending mine back!

      I ordered this it didnt even work a full year before it stopped working I was on the free plan but ended up being charged for a subscription at the end of the year and I have been trying since March to cancel it but no one ever answers the phone you sit and wait for an agent to come on the line only to be told that they are busy and you will have to leave a message containing your name your number and why youre calling for a return call and no one ever returns the call the app is so full of errors or maybe theyre not errors that it doesnt allow you to cancel your account and then when you go into the chat to try to do it through the chat it just gives you a bunch of I didnt get that I didnt get that I didnt get that so they make it impossible for you to cancel your account so that they can continue to charge you. They have on their site theyre 24 hour customer service no theyre not theyre referring to their chat and if I can attach the screenshots that I took trying to get their chat to show me how to cancel my account I would attach them. Then under the my accounts where they save the cancellation button is its not there it only says delete my account which is not the same.
