    I subscribed to their services on August 13th. They bill annually. The invoice was $1,788.00 However, they charged my credit card twice for a total of $3,576.00. I contacted the company via email and they claimed they only charged me once. I provided a snapshot of the two charges from my **** account and requested a follow up call or email. No response. If their billing department only shows one charge then someone at their company is committing fraud. You would think they would want to investigate that. Instead, they have gone silent. No one answers their phone or replies to messages.

    I feel scammed. I purchased what I thought was a $200/month subscription for this service. Once I got the invoice I see that I was charged for an ENTIRE YEAR up front. Not only that, I realize now that this $2400 subscription only allows me to use SOME of the data. Everything about this website pointed to a monthly subscription with unlimited access to the services. It's not. 100% a scam. I reached out the same day as my purchase with a request to cancel services with an email, along with two more follow-up emails on each successive day, with no response from this organization. I even called the customer service/support number and waited on hold for 30 minutes with no luck. I finally gave up. What a terrible experience.

    I signed up for a subscription to Statista believing and READING that it cost $39 monthly. 30 minutes later upon checking my bank account I had a $468.00 charge. I cancelled my subscription within 35 minutes. I reached out to the company to request a refund but I am reading that they do not offer refunds. However, the description of pricing is obviously misleading and completely unfair. This is a seedy business practice.

    Better Business Bureau:

    The business has promised to reduce my bill to one month (which I am assuming is $39.00, however they did not specificy). They have also promised to issue a refund for the rest which will take **** days. I consider this matter resolved as long as they follow through which I am sure they will. They seem understanding enough. This is in regards to ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and this portion of the matter has been resolved.

    On 3/29/2023 I went to their website and add my card info for a $39 subscription. They charged me over $400 dollars in one transaction. I can't afford $400 and no where was it said that $400 was the cost of the subscription. I have called the company and have been on hold for over an hour aft 9am and no one is answering the phone and no one is answering numerous emails that I have sent to them. After looking at their website, it states that personal subscriptions are not allowed and that you have to be a business to have a subscription. I am not even a business and I want my money back.

    I set up an account with Statista a while ago and no longer use it. I had forgotten about the subscription until I noticed the recurring monthly fee on my credit card and tried logging into my account with them. I could not access my account online and asked for password reset and received not response. I emailed them via their 'contact us' option and did not hear back. I emailed *********************************** I just called the phone number ************** and was listening to music for almost 30 minutes. I called on a Monday after 9am EST when their business hours online indicate they are 'open'. While listening to music my call went to multiple rings and then back to hold music. I hung up after almost 30 minutes. I want to cancel my subscription, but cannot access my account, have not received a response to my email requesting to close my account and cancel my subscription and no one seems to answer the phone number and it doesn't offer voicemail. Any help is appreciated.
