We have a very similar story with Ludlow Scout. ***************************** ************** daughter do a test shoot, in preparation for a trip to Europe to meet with potential agencies. Like the previous example, my daughter ********************* $950, did the test shoot, and never got the photos. My daughter was told they are coming over and over again. Trusting ******* was honorable my daughter went to Europe, photos never came. ******* textd her dozens of time telling her they would come. When she returned to NY, she continued to request the photos, theyre coming, theyre coming. Never came. My daughter finally reached out to the photographer *************************. Turns out he was never paid by Ludlow Scout. And my daughter was told she was not the only person this happened too. When my daughter contacted ******* after a lot of back and forth and denying, she was told she would get the money back. As of 8.16.23 my daughter has not been refunded the $950. There are always excuses, re: Shannons kids, doctors appointments, dont know how to use PayPal (which was requested form to refund), car problems, etc. If you are an aspiring model, or parent supporting your daughters modeling career, you have two examples now.Customer Answer

We paid our $850 on February 28, 2023. Its now May 12, 2023 and once again our daughters photoshoot has been didnt happen. Not one phone or text. Its been at least 4 times we have rearranged our schedule for this so called photoshoot. I pray that those parents that have received pleading text messages or phone calls from their teens or young adults find this review. DO NOT pay this woman any of your hard earned money. She is unreliable & unprofessional. She rushes you to pay this ridiculous fee; via Venmo mind you; to only distract your child from what they really should be focused on & then abruptly cancelling the photoshoot for unsubstantiated reasons. She claims to be a ********** but no ********* would conduct any business in this manner. I will work hard to discredit her business so no other family will go through this frustration & financial loss. This will be my first step of many. I expect a full refund for the photoshoot that has not happened. I havent mentioned the lost wages or money spent on buying the clothing essentials for the shoot.Business Response

This is an inaccurate portrayal of this situation. *****, who is ***************' daughter, scheduled to come get her test shoot images in *******. We did have to cancel one time, she also had to cancel on one weekend as well, as their was a conflict. I was in touch with her daughter who was scheduled to shoot on the 20th of this month. ***************** was apparently unaware that her daughter had scheduled to shoot on the 20th and contacted me at 10pm on Mother's Day evening with a copy of this false scenario above. I have phone records where I took hours of my time to speak with the mother, daughter, as well as the father to explain coming to *******, any time their was a reschedule on my end or her end, there was open lines of communication. Where it seems the breakdown was here was *****, did not inform her mother of the 20th shoot schedule, as she is away at college, so **************** wrote this to you. She had not requested a refund for the shoot she was scheduled for on the 20th when she wrote this, after she forwarded this verbiage to me at 10pm on a Sunday evening, Mother's Day, I then asked if she would like to cancel the shoot on the 20th, which she was unaware was on schedule, due to lack of communication with *****, her daughter, she stated she would like to cancel and was then immediately issued a refund at 10pm on Mother's Day evening.
I am truly baffled with why you were contacted and brought into this situation. No refund had been requested when this complaint was sent to you. ***************** wrote this to you and then forwarded it to me, I then informed her that her daughter was indeed on the schedule for the 20th, did she want to keep her on, or cancel. She then said she would like to cancel and was promptly issued a refund in full at 10pm on Sunday, Mother's Day. I was told that she would contact you regarding this misunderstanding and ask for a retraction, but again, why was it necessary for this to be written, when the daughter was on schedule and no refund was requested at the time the complaint was made. I have forwarded all of this to the attorney, as I previously mentioned, this falls in line with a continuous scenario to defame and slander Ludlowscout, as well as myself and we are taking action against all of these false accusations and defaming scenarios that are being put on public forums, such as this, from people who are not clients. under contract, that we have had very little interaction with, which seemingly never intended to want to come shoot or get the images, but wanted to create a false scenario to defame the company. ***************** has been refunded in full, I am unsure if she has contacted regarding her retraction, as I implore you not to publish this yet another false scenario, in line with the same activity that has been happening recently. I would appreciate this being closed out and removed, so my attorney does not have to waste his time pursuing someone who was never a client and did not come shoot, was refunded in full immediately upon request. I stand by my complaint. Im not going to waste any more of my time on this woman. The only truth in her statement is that I contacted her on Mothers Day & I received a full refund ASAP which was greatly appreciated. She did cancel on ** several times not once. Scheduled with my daughter via text on the 5/20 after cancelling the 5/7, but that was it for us. Months had gone by, money & time was lost. That was it for us! We werent giving her another opportunity to disrupt our lives. We wanted our daughter to go back to focusing on school. Although, she was heartbroken! I shared our experience to help others. I didnt think we would get our money back. That was the most professional thing she has done throughout this entire process. I look forward to sharing my experience in court. I have received my refund & will not be making any other public statements about this company. We are done with her!

$350 was Venmod to ***************************** in agreement that there would be a modeling shoot taking place on Saturday, April 8th. She said multiple times that she would send the location of the shoot and failed to do so. We asked that she refund the money in full. She told us wed have it by noon today, and by noon nothing had been returned. She then said she would return it by 8pm. Which once again she failed to do. She then blocked my mothers number, and when confronted said she had her phone shut off, which would be false because I was able to text her from a different number at the time she claimed it was off.Business Response

This is unfortunately not true. I provided her with all of the information for the shoot, which is to take place on the 8th, she then contacted and said she would like to cancel the evening of Monday at 8pm. She is being refunded in full today. This seems to be something made up? Where they pretended to want to shoot, but actually did not. My company has been under attack recently with false accusations and its very hurtful, considering how hard I have worked for 10 years on models careers. She is being refunded today.Initial Complaint

I was referred to Ludlow Scout and believed they were a legitimate agency. The initial payment of $850 was sent through Venmo to ******* ******* and the shoot date was set. Then, two weeks later, I received a phone call from ******* asking if I wanted my shoot to be in designer clothes and if so, it was going to cost an additional $250. And the money was sent to ******* again through Venmo. Since then, there can been countless cancellations and I have all of the text history to prove it. She claims refund checks were sent but they never arrived. After several months ******* randomly reached out on 03/16/2023 and scheduled the photoshoot for 03/25/2023. And of course, ******* cancelled it AGAIN!!!! I do not want to deal with her anymore and want my $1,100 back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Business Response

On June 20, 2019, I paid ***************************** at Ludlow Scout $850 for a service that was never completed. Since then, I have been repeatedly been asking for a refund, as the service was never provided. On August 3, 2022, I received a partial refund for $250. I have been requesting the entirety of the refund for nearly three years and have been lied to and ignored. I would like the refund immediately. Good afternoon. This client scheduled to shoot with ** prior to covid and prior to one of our team members having a serious health issue. We spoke to her several times after ***** and tried to get her back on the shoot schedule. Unfortunately our schedules did not align and she then requested a reimbursement. As this is handled by the accounting department, I was unaware that ****************** did not receive the remainder of her refund, only a partial. We will be reaching out to her to make sure she is resolved in full. We did outsource accounting at one point, which created some of these issues. We apologize for any inconvenience.Customer Answer

*****************************, co-owner of Ludlow Scout, approached me on Instagram and asked me to do a photoshoot in order to determine if they wanted to sign me to the agency. I paid for the test shoot, which is standard for the industry, but sent the money directly to **************. ******* canceled the shoot 10 weeks in a row due to many excuses. When I finally told her I was no longer interested due to the cancelations and wanted a refund, she told me she needed to go through accounting even though I sent the money directly to her Venmo. It has been exactly one whole year since I sent the money and have been bothering her weekly to get my money back and all I have received is excuses. She has refunded me $250 back but owes me $250 more. As an independent full time student and employee, I can not afford to give businesses free loans or donations.Initial Complaint

In August of 2021 I scheduled a photo shoot with Ludlow Scout to take place in September 2021. On August 25,2021 a Venmo for the amount of $600 was sent to *********************** ******* who is part owner of said company. The photo shoot was cancelled and we scheduled by the company in September, October and November. Finally in January 2022 I began requesting a refund because it became apparent that the shoot was not going to take place. I was told by ******* through text message every month from February to July that a check was mailed to me and that some how it must have been lost in the mail.
