    I received services on 08/23/23 (COVID testing) and was billed $75.00. I paid that bill but was then billed for services on 08/28/23. I never received any services on 08/28/23, I let the urgent care know that this was an error on multiple occasions through email, and I also spoke with a representative from the urgent care collections once. I also contacted my insurance at the time and explained the situation. My insurance quickly rectified the bill, so I would not be charged, and sent me an explanation of benefits so that I could submit this proof to the urgent care. I submitted all this information to the urgent care and yet they are still contacting me about a bill of $75 that I do not owe. I have done my part in providing all the dates, receipts, and paperwork needed to plainly see that the bill they claim I owe is not valid (from 08/28/23) and that I have paid what I owe from August *******. I do not know what else to do as this business has continued to harass me.

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We apologize for any inconvenience experienced by the patient.

    We have thoroughly reviewed the patients account and attempted to contact her multiple times. Unfortunately, we have not received any response. The patient mentioned that they have already paid, possibly through their insurance payment portal. However, we have not received any partial payment from the insurance company for the services provided on August 23, 2023.

    We kindly request that the patient contact their insurance company to obtain a transaction ID or proof of payment for the services rendered. Once we receive this information, we can promptly settle the outstanding balance. We are also willing to have a three way call with her insurance company to get this matter resolved.

    We appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue and ensuring a fair resolution for all parties involved.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: 

    Good evening,

    Last year I submitted documentation showing the payment of $75.00 was paid off. As a courtesy, I've once again attached proof of payment directly from my bank to this response as well as additional information. As shown on the attachment, there is a posting date of September 28th 2023, meaning the transaction was cleared and the funds were taken by the Hempstead UrgentWay.
