Terrible business. Do not patronize. I bought a rug which was delivered with a hole in it. Because I waited to unroll it until I had gotten rid of the other one, I missed the return window. Now the company will not assist me and suggests that I simply sell the rug to someone else. Sorry - not the person I am. But clearly the company KNOWINGLY sells defective merchandise.

Disgusting drivers! Just was walking down the street and watched their truck pull over- - one of the delivery guys stepped out, threw his half eaten bagel hard against someones building- then spit a snot rocket on the ground and left. Real quality employees!

Did what they said, sold a perfectly good bed and rehomed it. Efficient, and easy to work with. Pick up guys were great.

Scam business. Ordered a coffee table. Delivery person calls me and says the table was broken due to other furniture being in the van. I refused to take delivery. The next morning I see the item was marked as delivered even though it never was. AptDeco non-responsive in email. There is no way to speak to a human. The only communication I got was a generic template urging me to file a request for refund on their website. I did not file the request because it requires you to forego your right to dispute the charge with your credit card company. I have gone ahead and disputed the charge with ***************** Avoid at all costs.

Logistics Nightmare! My sofa sold very quickly to a buyer outside of the local *** service area. The national "white glove carrier" was **************** who seems to be driving all over the country with no office backup or logistics support. He has rescheduled pick up 4 times (via text) in the past three weeks. Now I am learning that he has canceled the pickup altogether and AptDeco is starting all over again finding a new shipper. The most frustrating aspect is the lack of accountability on AptDeco's part. They are impossible to reach (you can only email) and it is a different customer service person every time. They do not. have a phone number to call.If you have a tight timeframe I do not recommend AptDeco. And absolutely do not buy/sell to anyone outside of your local metro area!

This business is a scam. I ordered bookshelves to be delivered. They were never delivered, but the company website shows that they were. They're committing fraud.

Using AptDeco as a seller is one of the worst experiences you can imagine. As a buyer, it's probably an OK service to pick up some furniture on the cheap. But, in the past month while moving we've experienced a few things: 1) We sold an entryway bench that by design sits up against a wall and, as its function, is sat upon. There was minor paint transfer on the back, and the buyer demanded a refund of 50% even though you can get rid of pain transfer in less than a minute. AptDeco sided with them, and then proceeded to take the entire amount out of our paycheck, and nothing out of their kickback even though the photos on the listing show the paint transfer. 2) ********* who came to move things out of our house was extremely rough with the items. We had someone send pictures of a bedframe we'd sent out in great condition with cracks all up and down the wood. These men dragged the planks across our living room and into a truck... not surprising. Of course, AptDeco took zero fault.3) You can price your item for a certain amount, but when you go and look at the public listing, it's always priced 10-15% higher than what you'd listed it as. Not only does AptDeco take nearly a 50% cut of the price you choose, they also raise the price without telling you to increase profits. This is illegal. Once they have your item, you're basically stuck with whatever they decide to do with it, and the chance of you seeing a fair share is nil. The only way I would recommend using AptDeco is if you allow the buyer to pick the item up yourself. We had 2 great experiences with doing so, and 6 awful experiences with having AptDeco pick the items up for us.

On October 1, 2022 at 11:40 a.m. the AptDeco two-man delivery team came to deliver the chair/loveseat, but when they tried to take it upstairs they damaged two walls in multiple places. The damage included two pretty decent sized holes and multiple scrapes and gashes. This was because they did not take the feet off the chair which also sustained some damage, but I did not report it since it would not be that visible when placed in the room.I contacted AptDeco within the hour via email wrote back asking me to fill out a Building Damage Form which I promptly did. On Oct. 3, the representative gets back to me via email stating that their goal is to resolve this as soon as possible and asked me to get a quote from a contractor and submit it to them, which I did on Oct. 18. I got two quotes from two different contractors and offered AptDeco the lesser of the two. On Oct. 27, the representative emails me stating that AptDeco would reimburse me for a portion of the damages. I questioned if this amount was the best that AptDecos insurance can do as I would be out a couple of hundred dollars as per the lower estimated quote. This was the moment they began ignoring my emails. The company had sent me a generic email requesting feedback on my new sofa so I responded to this email explaining my situation with the damaged walls. The representative did actually get back to me at that point and said that she would check with the claims department and let me know the status as soon as possible. It is now November 10 and I have emailed AptDeco at least a half-dozen times since November 1 and have yet to hear back. I have tried to be fair, professional and polite when dealing with this company, but AptDeco lacks integrity.
