      AspHostPortal does not allow a customer to cancel or deactivate their own account. The process involved is detailed on their page as: "You can cancel your account at any time. However, you always need to make sure you cancel the account 7 days prior to the expiration date of your hosting service. Failure to notify us within the specified time frame will result in an automatic, non-refundable charge to your credit cards Please be advised that you always need to contact our ****************** for an account cancellation request. You need to submit a formal account cancellation request to our Billing Team via our Help Desk System. By submitting a formal account cancellation request, our Billing Team can cancel your account properly. Failure to notify our Billing Team may result in an automatic, non-refundable charge to your credit cards."I submitted the request as detailed by those steps on April 1st with my account to be renewed in May so well before the 7 days notice. They not only renewed my account, they also did not cancel my account. They proceeded to close my ticket, and leave my account active. So I got charged for renewal. I reiterated for them to close my account please, and thats when they closed my ticket and left my account active. They're refusing to cancel my account and holding me hostage charging me.

      Better Business Bureau:

      On **** 19th I request that they close my account and they responded that they won't close my account unless I close my dispute image. I just rechecked the status of the account today to see if there were any other messages for your request of if they contacted me, and I see that my account is in a deleted status now.

      At this time, my complaint, ID ******** regarding ASPHostPortal has been resolved.
