I ordered a dress from Sachin and Babi that didnt fit and returned it the day I received it. Very shortly after I received an email that they received my order and can expect a refund in thirty days or up to two billing cycles. Today- about two months later I received a box from the company with the dress that said torn. I immediately felt something was off, and went to start reading about the company online. This is a scam that they pull with everyone. The dress didnt fit. This needs to be publicized bec many people are being scammed.Initial Complaint

I purchased a dress from Sachin and Babi on 1/10, and decided to return the dress within the 14 day return window. The dress was received by the company on 1/24. Refund was not issued within 30 days of receiving the garment. I reached out to the customer service team on 2/26 for inquiry into the refund. My inquiry is still pending.Customer Answer

I ordered a dress directly from Sachin & Babi for my daughters wedding after reviewing their returns policynote free returns. After trying the dress on for less than 5 minutes and realizing it was not a good fit, I repackaged the dress in plastic and all original packaging. After many weeks and no communication at all via telephone or email the dress was returned to me denying a refund saying the dress was dirty. I have attempted to call, email, and chat with their customer service to no avail. I now see many reviews of similar complaints ta. I believe fraud is being committed. The dress was not worn! 11/27 I ordered two dresses from Sachin & Babi in two sizes for $433.53.12/2 I received an "on the way" notification.12/4 The dresses were delivered to my home. After trying them on in my carpeted bedroom and finding they didnt fit, I immediately repackaged them in the same box.12/6 I returned both dresses to the vendor.12/9 I received confirmation the dresses had been received by vendor.12/19 I was notified via email both dresses had been found to have stains and that the return would not be accepted. They stated the dresses would be sent back to **** contacted the vendor immediately and asked them to provide a photo of the *** package as it was received at their warehouse. I clarified that both dresses left my home in perfect conditiononly tried on in a carpeted bedroom, then immediately placed back in their original plastic bags and box. In response, they stated the box arrived without damage but refused to provide a package ********* of the dress stains appeared to be from something like wheels being run over the fabrican issue that could not have occurred given how carefully I handled the dresses. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing a company like Sachin & Babi would falsely accuse a customer of returning damaged goods without any proof, especially when I know the dresses were in the same condition as when they arrived.12/23 The dresses were returned to me, still marked with the stains I never caused. After researching this company online, I was shocked to find many other customers reporting similar experiencesunprofessional and unfair business practices that are clearly not isolated to my case.12/27 Disputed charge with my credit card company, as I refuse to let this company profit from dishonest practices.Consumers need to be aware of thisSachin & Babi's handling of returns is unacceptable, & their false accusations are deeply concerning. The vendor insists that I stained not one but both of the dresses. They refused to accept them back as a return and sent the dresses back to me and told me that in a email. I have disputed the sale with my credit card company. I did not stain the dresses (exact same dress but two sizes). The stains were completely different, one looked like a cart rolled over the hemline and the other stain was a black blob. I purchased and returned a dress online with Sachin and Babi, **. I bought a dress on 10/20,:it was returned on 10/25. It arrived on 10/28 at Sachin and Babi. I ordered two dresses from Sachin and Babi, in two sizes, same dress. The dresses arrived on Sept. 24. I tried on ONE of the dresses and determined that they were not fitting well and returned via *** on Sept. 27. The two dresses were in good shape with nothing wrong with them. On Oct. 21, I received an email stating that Sachin and Babi found that the ******** Gowns had a stain in the size 14 while the size 12 had a stain and was unstitched. The pictures they sent did not show a stain and were in a gray color. The dresses I ordered were black and DARK BLUE. All tags were on the dresses. Nothing was wrong with the dress that I tried on and the other dress was never opened. I have sent several emails to the company. There are MANY complaints of their inappropriate customer service. I am seeking ********************* support to help me with a $1,900 plus costs for the two gowns. ***** was the customer service representative and was not acknowledging my information back to her. I will be seeking support from an attorney and filing a complaint with the ****************************. I purchased multiple dresses on online on 9/10/2024 then returned all items and received an email that the company received the return on 9/26/2024. I emailed the company on 10/16/2024 to check on the status of the refund and they said it could take up to 30 days. Then they issued a refund on 10/16/2024 for 3 of the dresses and said 2 were still under review. I then emailed again about the remainder of the order, and they said it was still under review. Finally, on 10/22/2024 they said my return was "rejected" because there was a spot on the inside of the dress. I never tried the dress on, I only held it up to me. The issue is that they have had the particular dress in their warehouse for 27 days "examining" it and I feel that is ample time for it to incur a "spot" or something of that nature in the examining process. I feel that this lengthy process is does not benefit the consumer. In addition, it is a very fluffy type of dress that could have very well had a spot on the "inside" before it even was shipped to me.Initial Complaint

I bought several gowns to try on. None of them fit properly or worked for me, so I promptly returned them. S&B then sent me back 3 of the dresses -- saying they were damaged in some way and therefore not returnable. I did not return any of these dresses damaged - they were tried on in my house and returned carefully. Unfortunately exactly what happened in other complaints. I ordered this blue dress, the color arrived was not quite the color on their website and it was too large when I tried it. I returned the dress and a month later it got returned to me unpackaged rumpled up, inside out with green tape on it and a preprinted card that says they can not accept the return due to damage. I carefully inspected the dress for damage, it still had all of it's tags in tact and there was absolutely no damage at all. I contacted customer service and they said they had to return it because it had stains on it. I uploaded photos of the dress. I have additional photos and the dress is in perfect condition. They sent me a photo that showed there was what appeared to be white powder near the zipper, as you can see in my photo it's clean.Customer Answer
