    I reserved for stay at Niagara Riverside Resort Hotel Oct 17th thru Oct 19, 2024. The morning of the 19th I identified an active pest (roach) within my hotel room and killed it. I was preparing for check out. Turned in my key - front desk attendant (JOSEPH) asked about my stay and I provided him the pest identified and told him about it being within my room. He said I can give you 1 night compensation I will get with my manager - here is her card. Since then Ive spoken with my booking agents who've tried to reach the hotel direct and have been given the run around and Ive contacted **** ******* corporate office direct and they've DONE NOTHING to help rectify what has been told to me by the location. This is an absolute disgrace that something like this has taken this long (which equates to approx $88 for the night stay). Its an embarrassment for ANY guest to have identified something like this. To add insult to injury the room itself was not the cleanest - there was residue all on the walls that could have easily been wiped down. I am so disgusted by the whole transaction. The purpose of my trip was due to untimely death of a friend of over 40years. This incident just added insult to injury. I want the one night stay refunded ($89.39) to me as promised.

    Third party website was reached out to by us for refund customer requested. Customer booked through a third-party site and prepaid through them. We did authorize the refund, if customer has not received refund she needs to reach out to ********* or subsidy through *********. The hotel does not have cc info or payment due to 3rd party site collecting information. We will be happy to speak with 3rd party and authorize again if needed. Thanks James
