I want this company to take my address off the mailing list so I stop receiving their annoying 8"x10" advertising mailers addressed to "resident" that take up the whole mailbox. I do not want to spend another minute hauling them 100' down the hill to my house and 100' back up the hill for trash or recycling. I will never do business with any company that advertises in this intrusive way and advise them to read the thousands of online complaints about junk mail. I want them to permanently and immediately remove my information so I will never receive junk addressed to me, to current resident or occupant or to past or future resident or occupant. Apparently my opt out with DMA cannot stop them. Thanks!

There is no reason that my address cannot be removed permanently from the mailing list for these annoying flyers. I purchased a *** 2016 of February of this year 2024 and the vehicle engine is completely blown. 6 months later the business told me there was no warranties to uphold so they were not going to do anything for me. I talked to the service manager multiple times during my time frame of the beginning of the vehicle about the engine problems and he just told me it was a V8. There was nothing for me to worry about. I was told by the manager that the vehicle went through many checks and balances before I bought the vehicle. I don't believe it to be true because the truck broke down is within 6 months The vehicle gave no warning signs at all and just stopped working all together one day I spoke with the manager of the business. He told me there was nothing for them to do or they can help me with nothing even if I bought the truck just a few months ago and after I expressed my concerns with the service department. Nothing was done. Now I have a $25,000 vehicle that I have to replace the whole engine I have only put approximately around 5,000 mi on the vehicle since I had it The business told me there's nothing they would do for. I believe because I didn't finance with them or bought any of their warranties that they were trying to sell me. Is the reason why they didn't check my truck over and they will not help me at all.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/09/2024

We are sorry that that happened to you. At the time of sale when you purchased the truck you did decline an extended service plan that would have covered your purchase. We did advise you to take advantage of the warranty to protect your purchase.

I bought a **** through crazy cheap cars last February of 2023. When I my bought my car there was a hole in my flex pipe. I took it in to get fixed. They said they did. I took my **** to another dealership to get looked at cause after a week the problem was still there. They did a cheap fix and now there's even a bigger hole. When I called they suddenly say it's not under warranty. I mean really? Still not fixed . I got 1 key fob with my **** which was not great but worked until it didn't want to work correctly. I was supposed to have my fob months ago. I had an appointment to get it programmed at crazy cheap cars. Left work early and loss of pay. I get there they had to send the key out. No call, no text, no email to inform me. I've got false dates for the key guy to come program my **** with new fob. Never happened. Again another date never happened. IT STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED.!!! All I get is the runaround .

Bought a used truck from Crazy Cheap Cars and on the second day of owning it I noticed 2 problems. An engine problem and a 3rd row seat problem. I called them and brought the truck back to them that day. I was told they will fix the engine first then the seat after that. It took numerous phone calls and 9 weeks to get the engine fixed. Now that it is done they are refusing to fix the 3rd seat because they are saying the engine cost too much and they won’t spend any more money on the truck.

I purchased a 2020 **** **** from Crazy Cheap Cars back in August of 2023. Since day one I had complaints of a noise coming from the rear end of deceleration. I ended up bringing the truck back to be diagnosed and fixed 3 times by them, with no success in getting to the bottom of the cause. It ended up coming down to Mike (service manager) just telling me that the truck is perfectly fine to drive and that it is a "normal" noise to be heard. Under no circumstances, is a metal on metal grinding noise normal on a vehicle. I end up bringing the truck back to them once again after another dealership tells me that it is a good chance that I may need a transfer case replaced. Mike again tells me that he is not willing to pay out of pocket to another dealership and to once again bring the truck back again. Mind you, every time I've brought it to them I've had to go with no loaner vehicle for multiple weeks at a time. This time ended up being no different, with them having it for just about a month. Finally they end up replacing the transfer case with some refurbished one from wherever they got it from. I've never once gotten any documentation from them showing what work has or hasn't been done and truthfully I'd be willing to bet that they never even replaced my transfer case as they said they did. Now 8+ months later, I still am dealing with the same issue and now have a destroyed rear differential in my truck, due to their lackadaisical attempts to actually do right by me and fix the truck properly. I'm requesting that I be refunded for the $2500 that I'm not having to pay to have my rear end replaced. No I will not bring it back to you again & allow you to "attempt" to fix the issue after this many times.

BBB spoke with the owner of the business and the following was relayed:

The truck was purchased in August of 2023.  An extended warranty service was offered but was declined by the customer.  At this point, I wouldn't know how many miles were put on the truck since the purchase, how the truck has been driven since the purchase or any of that.  We did do some work already, replaced the transfer case.  The truck is not under warranty, but if he'd like to bring it in we'd be happy to take a look and possibly do some estimates.

Regards, ****** ****** The owner is completely lying about what was "needed" to be repaired.  It is not my fault that since day one they have misdiagnosed the issue at hand.  Once again, they claim they have replaced the transfer case but I STILL have yet to receive any documentation regarding it.  I also gave you the amount of miles that the truck now has which obviously is irrelevant considering this issue has occurred since day 1.  Go look at their reviews on ****** of all the other unhappy customers who were sold junk cars that needed extensive repairs.  This guy has some extremely shady business practices.

I purchase a used vehicle in November of 2023. I did not purchase an extended warranty, but it did come with a 60 day Warranty. Within that 60 days it was leaking fluid and we brought it in, we were told it was leaking oil and that they fixed it. We brought it home and it continued to leak for about a week or 2. during that time we called several times leaving messages and they would never call us back. It eventually stopped leaking, which I thought was odd but thought maybe they oil was on other parts of the car and still dripping off. It then began making a clunking sound, we brought it back again and they returned it to us stating that it was sway bar links that were recalled and said it needed to go to the dealer. We did know the sway bar links were recalled, but that was not the noice we were hearing. after 5 months of having the vehicle, it would not drive. I had it towed to them on April 17th. The communication was horrible. we would call daily with no return phone calls. finally after 2 weeks they called stating that it needed a module for the transmission. After another week they called and said that it needed a whole new transmission. The owner and his staff treated us horrible, were rude, would not listen or even return phone calls. I needed to have a vehicle as I have 3 kids and work full time. They quoted me $6500 for a used transmission and after much argument from me agreed to me paying for $3000 and they would cover the rest. This is because they know they are guilty! I believe they knew it needed a transmission the very first time I brought it to them and they "put a bandaid" on it until they could charge me for the repair! after 5 weeks I finally got my car back. There is a lot more I could detail but i'm out of characters!

The customer put on 10,000 miles on the vehicle and then had a problem with the transmission. We worked with the customer on the cost of the transmission and had said it was going to be $6500. but because we were trying to help the customer we told them that we would do $3000 plus tax and she agreed. Now after she got the vehicle fixed she wants us to refund what she paid and agreed to. We did the transmission well below are cost to help out. She shouldn't have agreed to $3000 if she was going to put in a complaint on her agreement.

    Business Response

She was out of the NYS warranty that we stand behind on every vehicle. We did at the time of delivery offer her an extended warranty which would have covered issues that could arrive but she declined to buy it. We thought that by us giving a a large contribution towards the repair that would show goodwill to the customer. The labor and parts costs were a lot more than the $3000 she paid. We did everything to help her and she should have not agreed to $3000 if she was going to dispute it.

As I have no stated 3 times - my car was brought to them within the 60 day time frame and they knew it needed a transmission then and covered it up! I have said this 3 times and not once have they denied this! I then had to go to the bank when they fraudulently charged my bank account double what i supposed to pay. they have since credited the money back to me, but only when the bank manager threatened to send a deputy and file fraud charges against them. bottom line once again is that I had a 60 day warranty - brought my vehicle to them within that time frame and they but a bandaid on a big problem and sent me home to wait for the transmission to go.  Regards, ***** ********

I purchased a vehicle through this business in November of 2023. There has been issue after issue and my phone calls have not been returned and no issues have been resolved. Today was my last straw when I found out that the wrong battery was put in my vehicle. A few days ago the motor in my sunroof completely went (mind you this is spring) and my car has been rained into on multiple occasions due to the company never returning my phone call. I even offered to come out of pocket for the expenses! Since I’ve left the lot I’ve been asking for my ABS system to be fixed, I was told that when I found a mechanic to fix it that was closer to me to contact the dealership and they would cover the fees. Nobody in service answered the phone! I simply asked for a clean vehicle at purchase, it was half cleaned. Amongst other technical issues that were never fixed, although I was told they were being fixed. After every appointment I had to fix an issue, an engine or error light come on during the 45 minute drive home!! They lied and said I had a warranty on the vehicle but that warranty didn’t cover my mileage! I don’t think my vehicle will make it before I can even pay it off and it’s a shame they sold it in the condition it was in without working with me to update the problems! And I’m not the only person they’re doing this to! They should have more of a concern for people’s safety and longevity with their vehicles instead of just trying to make a quick buck!! And due to the reviews it’s an ongoing issue that needs to be handled!!

This customer has an extended warranty which means that she can take it anywhere she would like to get fixed. She purchased this vehicle with 148,000 miles on it so the nys lemon law is on 30 days of reasonable service which she knew when purchasing the vehicle. After that the extended warranty would pick up from there to help with any issues that may happen.

I bought a used 2010 *** **** from Crazy, Cheap cars on October 13, 2023. Within the month I noticed that the emergency brake was broken, as well as the gas mileage being poor, the engine sputtering at higher speeds and the USB port not working. The broken parking brake was particularly egregious since a working parking brake is required for NYSI. I was not able to leave my car with a mechanic until November 11, 2023 and picked it up on November 13, 2023 with everything fixed except for the USB port. Because the car was sold to me in such bad condition, I did not trust them to fix it. I have attached the repair bill totaling $1255.69. I mailed a certified letter to the manager of Crazy, Cheap Cars on November 13, 2023 detailing the issues and expecting to be reimbursed, which I have also attached. I gave them ten business days to respond, and I have heard nothing back.

June 28th 2023 I took my 2018 **** ****** that I purchased 2 years ago from this dealership for a engine light that scanned cylinder 3 misfire. We were told the spark plug was stuck inside and needed to be removed. And possibly crack head .This resulted in needing a engine replacement. Replacement engine was bad when installed. Required a 2nd replacement. The car started bucking and all lights flashed when picked up took back. Told needed 3rd engine as the timing belt made the engine go. Dealership also busted my windshield replacing engines. . Many attempts to have appointment made to have dealership glass repairman fix window. Excuses made why not done. 3rd engine put in . Car still not starting correctly lounging during auto start/stop turns on and car hesitant with shifting. And slams into gear.Dealership stated needs a transmission. Excuse given from service was " between the 3 of us, someone was in a hurry doing your engine and screwed up the transmission. " . Crazy cheap cars Replaced transmission and when car done. Still lounges forward during auto start/stop turning on and car hesitant to shift and slams into gear. Told to take to ***** **** and they would pay my service deductible this was at the end of September. While waiting for appointment at ***** I called thier glass repair 9 times no return calls or answer. Had to use my insurance to replace windshield. Have asked many times for paperwork on service done only given for first engine.Treated poorly from service manager Called warranty company for claims filed on my car. They stated no claim filed from Crazy Cheap Cars for a transmission.. I did receive a paper from dealership stating transmission done but paper work doesn't provide part numbers or Warrenty information. I was without a vehicle for 5 months. Crazy cheap cars did provide a rental car for 30 days from a local garage Rental car was unsafe , engine light on.struts blown out, odor of cigarettes and dirty.

    Business Response

BBB spoke to the business and the following was relayed:  We are offering $250 as goodwill for the windshield. As far as the other things go.  Our 24/24 warranty covers engines but does not cover internal repairs, such as the transmission.  The transmission repairs that she had done at **** would not be covered by our 24/24 warranty, if those repairs were eligible under our warranty, we would have extended our warranty but those repairs were not covered by our warranty.  We did the engine work here and afterwards she said that there was still a jerking issue.  We also replaced the torque converter here at no cost to her, in fact that repair was 100% out of our own pockets.  So when she said she still felt the car was jerking we sent her to ford.  We paid her deductible and **** repaired her transmission.  Also, we paid $1,700 for her to have a rental car while all of this was being done.  We apoligze that it took 3 engine replacements to repair her engine but we cannot control the engines that we get from the supplier.  The warranty states that we are legally obligated to repair in the most cost effective way.  So, we ordered the engines and installed them as they came in until we finally got a good engine from the supplier.  I believe that we have done everything that we can, and more.  To summarize, she had her engine replaced here, her torque converter replaced here and some other things at No Cost to her. She had her transmission repaired at ****, at No Cost to Her. She had a rental provided to her at No Cost to her. We are extending a goodwill gesture of $250 for the windshield that needed to be replaced. And also, we are extending ourselves for any future issues that may arise.  Please tell her to bring the car into us if anything comes up in the future and we will work with her to get repairs done.  Her extended warranty is good through 2/22/2025.  And the work that she had done at **** is covered under ****** 24/24 warranty.   Our final offer is $250 as goodwill for the windshield and we will of course work with her if anything arises in the future.  Thank you.

I purchased a 2015 ******** ******** from crazy cheap cars on 6/28/23 for my rental car business called ****** **** *** ******** Upon test driving the vehicle I noticed the radio touchscreen did not work, the dealership put in writing that they would repair/replace the screen. Since I’ve left the dealership they sent me the wrong part, also the salesman I was working with Brian has blocked my number. And today is 7/30/23 and I have still yet to receive my replacement yet. I have called the dealership multiple times and I’ve been getting the run around every time I call. I can’t use the vehicle for its intended purpose for my business until this matter is resolved and I’m making payments on a vehicle I can’t use. At this point I would like to go to the ******** dealership that’s local to me and have them fix my issue and for crazy cheap cars to pay for the repairs or a complete refund of this vehicle this entire process has been a nightmare.

We just talked to the customer 8-1-2023 and sent a picture of the invoice for the new part so he knew it was in and mailed out to him.
