    On May 4,2023, I purchase two AZ beehives for $560 each (total of $1120) from Bushkill Farms dba Bushkill Beevac, *********************, order #****. The business promised to provide beehives from ******** with quality wood and craftsmanship. The hives arrived in poor shape, the wood was subpar and splitting in many areas, the hinges were all warped. In order to keep your bees in a hive, these things can't be present. There shouldn't be any gaps in the wood and the doors must be able to close properly. Neither of these were true of the product that was sent to me. I immediately shared the condition of the hives and shared pictures with the owner and he told me to contact the third party manufacturer to inform them although my business transaction was with him directly, not the manufacturer. I did contact the manufacturer and the third party sent me pieces of wood with no parts/fixtures and not a completed hive. I am a disabled veteran and don't know how to put hives together or else I would have done it myself in the first place. Now I have bees in broken/warped hives that I may lose and pieces and parts that I don't know what to do with. The owner simply apologized and did not offer any solutions other than pointing his finger at someone else. I requested a refund with no reply. These hives are trash so I don't even want to replacement. Unfortunately, there are only two providers that are recommended in ***************** for these type of hives which are useful for disabled individuals. They are needed for accessibility. I feel like the owner is preying upon individuals that are disabled, one by charging so much for a subpar product and for sourcing from third parties that he is not even aware of what they're sending out or cares to know that they're sending out. He's made it very clear he doesn't care. The return policy says that it has to be returned in the same package that it arrived in and that's impossible because you have to disassemble it to open it.
