    I contacted Anthony C********** via phone call on Feb 7th because I was looking for a locally owned business to support, he had good reviews on a few social media sites. I wanted to get 2 entry doors replaced and 2 storm doors put in, along with some other projects. He said the total cost would for the doors would be 3800, possibly more depending on the doors and I would need to pay 2800 down. I paid 2800 down on Feb 12th 2023. On Feb 16th he sent me a few door ideas, and mentioned coming by with a book for me to look at. On march 28th I reach out due to not hearing from him for over a month. He said he had been busy and discussed a few more door types. On April 15th I reached out again asking if there was any news on the doors and said if he is to busy should I look somewhere else, he said every job is important. I said it is not a rush but I would like the storm doors put in before it started getting warmer, and the entry doors can wait till October-he said next week is kind of cool but the warm weather should return soon and I should have my doors in by then. On May 18th I reach out again and said I found someone who can put in the storm doors next week. He said he had been off work due to Sciatic nerve issues but can get it done next week. I told him I was going to be out of town till the 22nd of May. I reached out to him again on June 2nd telling him I was back in town, he said he would take care of it next week, next week came and no word so I messaged him again on June 10th. This time I asked him to refund me, he said he had already purchased the 2 entry doors, when I had never come to a decision on what I wanted and stated that and asked why did he purchase them. He did not respond. On June 15th I asked him to send me a receipt of the refund for the deposit, he has not replied. He never came by the house to look at the entry areas, all his contact was via text, as he stated he preferred that vs email. I have included texts and proof of payment below.

    BBB spoke with the owner who said that a refund has already been processed.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Exact fit has refunded the whole amount
