My name is *******************, I'm filing a complaint against Nissan of Queens (********************************************************) for overcharging me for a basic used 2021 Nissan Altima SV on April 11, 2023. The car was worth $ ***** in 2021 throughout 2 years it got a depreciation of 5,65%. When I financed it they charged me $40574.93 plus my $2500 down payment. I have to pay $12267.31 in interest even though the salesman showed me on the sticker that the price of the car was $26800 plus tax which would be maybe $29500. At that time I was worried about the APR of the loan they told me, they got a good APR but they did not disclose the whole price they gave me the paper to sign so quick and after I signed everything and took a closer look I saw that it was that much money I argue they said it is an altima ****** Now the car is worth $18500 and I can not trade it in because I have an extremely high amount of money left to pay on the loan about $37600. On top of that, that car is giving me problems, the next 2 months after buying the car I had to replace the battery, and for the past weeks of this year, I had to change an axle something related to the transmission I think. I talked to Nissan Finance about the loan asking them if they could lower the amount or the interest on the loan because I have a loan on a car that doubled the car value. I went to a dealership to trade in the car, they told me that this was unfair for a dealership to charge me that much money on a basic 2021 Nissan Altima SV. And they told me let's say we give you $17000 for your car you will still owe half of it on the loan we can not roll that amount on the new car cause it is too much. I would like you Sir/madam to help me lower the amount of the loan by making Nissan Queens pay the extra they charged me on that car thank you.Initial Complaint

I had a lease from Nissan and went to buy out my lease. They kept me there for over 3 hours even though there were almost no other clients there. They continued to tell me a dollar amount that I would pay per month and the number of months I would be making the payment. After 2.5 hours they sent me in to their finance department to sign the contract. When presented with the contract, they had raised the monthly amount to over double what was originally told to me and doubled the contract term from 36 months to 72. They claimed their sales person was "new" and didn't know what he was saying. I ended up telling them I was leaving but they worked with me to get my payments down to the original promised amount. They also had my vehicle value off by almost $6,000. My original buy out was $9K but they had charged me $15K. It was only when I asked for the breakdown that I found out their error. After signing the contract with the updated terms, I left and checked my credit report a week later. They reported almost $10K more on the loan and again, double the monthly payment of the contract terms. Nissan called me to ask me to come back to their office due to this error. I believe this business is extremely negligent and incompetent in how they handle their services.Business Response

I went to get my new 2021 Nissan Rogue serviced on May 12, 2022 and one of the employees ended up damaging my car at the service shop. When I confronted them about the damage, they asked me to stay while they send my car to another place to get repaired. They didn't repair, they pushed the bumper dent out and whichever tool they used to push it out left a bubble on the outside and after that they just paint something over it to hit the scratches which faded away after less than an hour. So I called them back and they said I am going to have to leave my car for couple days so the paint car dry and they gave me no replacement vehicle for that duration. I just sucked it up and left it. I come back to pick it up and the scratches are still there. Then they tell me they are going to replace the bumper, so more days without me having my car. Again, I said alright. So after they put a new bumper, 20ish days after i happened to notice the bumper popped out. So I scheduled an appointment with the service shop to get that fixed, along with one of my tire issues which I've told them about multiple time and they say don"t know how to repair it or whats wrong with it. When i got to the counter the receptionist told me I would have to pay out of pocket to repair the bumper outside and they don't take responsibility for any thing after it leaves the lot. So I told them their fault that my bumper got damaged, so she calls the manager and who says that its supposed to be like that, when I know it didn't used to be like that. He completely refused to do anything and even goes to claim that the original damage to my bumper didn't even happen there. If that was the case why repair my bumper and send it to multiple shops. After that he told me to leave and that he won't service my car. I asked him if you cant fix the bumper, look at the tire, he said "no, you didn't come in for that". when in fact, in my appointment it stated both reasons for my visit. I bought this car new from NoQ.
