On August 13, 2021, I purchased an extended warranty from *********************** of *** of the Hudson Valley. My engine claim was denied by Warranty ******************************** on July 25, 2022. After **************** reported oil consumption due to failed pistons, Warranty Solutions sought an engine teardown in order to accept the claim and determine the cause of piston failure.Warranty Solutions denied the engine claim both when Audi reported piston failure and after the engine was disassembled.Now I'm facing a significant financial loss as a result of the engine teardown demanded by Warranty Solutions in order for the warranty claim to be approved. I attempted to resolve the issue with both Warranty Solutions and *** of the Hudson Valley without success.Audi is putting a lot of pressure on me to pay since they don't have enough space at the service lot.When I purchased the extended warranty from *** of the Hudson Valley, I was assured that it included all engine parts. However, according to the denial letter from Warranty Solutions, what I purchased from *** is not insured by a warranty. According to them, a *************** Contract is not a warranty.*** of the Hudson Valley deceived me by selling a *************** Contract as an extended warranty that covered all engine parts.I also experienced a significant financial loss as a result of Warranty Solutions' demand for an engine teardown to determine the reason for piston failure.
