    Went to get an eye exam they asked for my insurance card which I gave them then it was told to me I needed reading glasses they had me pick out frames then asked me to pay over $400.00 out of pocket my insurance company sent me a letter saying they don't cover those frames and that Ultimate Spectacle should have shown me the frames that were covered by my insurance company I was never told or shown the frames covered by my insurance company when I went back to get my money back and give the glasses back Ultimate Spectacle told me I could not do anything and that I was probably shown the glass frames that was covered by my insurance and didn't like them this is not true no one told me what was covered by my insurance never mentioned it at all

    I went to Ultimate Spectacle on June 28 to get a new prescription for glasses. I have used this business for several years, and my current glasses, which are still good for reading but not for distance, were purchased there. I put down a $348 deposit for them.On July 14 I went to pick the new glasses up and they were unable to focus for reading. The doctor did a new exam and a new prescription was written. I went back again to pick them up during the week of July 24 and they were still not right. Again I had a new exam and a new prescription was written. I went back a third time on August 11, with the same result.By now I had lost faith that they could get this done correctly and asked for a refund of my deposit so I could get glasses somewhere else. I was told the manager, who was currently on vacation, would call me the following Monday, August 15. No phone call came. I waited until today to contact them, and they refused to refund my money, telling me that we could work this out.I have no interest in doing business with them any longer. I have never had an issue with the reading focus on glasses I purchased there before, but this time they are insisting that I need to hold my reading material at an uncomfortable position so my eyes can focus on it. This was never the case before.I insist on a refund so I can go elsewhere and get glasses that are correctly ground.
