On January 12, 2025 my husband and I attended a presentation via zoom for the Condominium Travel Club. In exchange for our time, we were told that we would receive promotional gifts to include a free cruise. We attended the presentation yet did not receive the promotional gifts promised to us. We tried to contact the Condominium Travel Club directly to inquire about the status of said gifts but have yet to receive a response.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  No communication has been received from the company since the presentation, let alone the promised cruise. My husband and I checked both of our email addresses and all associated folders. We have received zero correspondence and have not receive promises gift as they stated.   Regards,  ******* ********

Seems this type of complaint has been made multiple times. I feel like I totally got scammed. My wife and I were at the **** State Fair on August 15, 2024, where we spoke to a lady at a booth for the Condominium Travel Club. She informed us of the services and benefits of the service and asked if we wanted to do see their presentation in which we would get a $500 vacation credit for a 5 day cruise. We just had to sit for a 90 minutes presentation. We agreed and she informed use we need to pay 20$ to save our spot, but in return we would get a 30$ gift card for watching the presentation. We paid the money and selected our presentation time of 5:15pm on September 4. We were told we would get an e-mail "within 24 hours with a link to the presentation. "We never received an email or phone call about the presentation. I have called multiple times (ph = "Rose" at ************), leaving VMs, and asked that they either call me back or send the e-mail. But I have yet to receive either. I am losing faith. I will be calling the **** State Fair and complaining there too. Maybe they won't be invited back. I want my money back. Even if they claim it's non-refundable...that's based on the contract I signed. They haven't held up their end of the contract. That voids it. I want my money back.

*******, We apologize for any confusion.   We are not sure why you did not receive the email invite for the presentation, but we have resent it to *************************.  Sometimes email gets rerouted by the email provider if they do not recognize the sender.  We have called several times but have not heard back from you. Let us know if you did not receive the email invite. Your appointment is booked, and you are all set for Sept 4th.  Attached are the promotional gifts you were offered and the details.  You are scheduled to receive $300 to $500 off a cruise, $300 off your next vacation and a $30 Shopping Gift Card that can be used from an app on your phone at over 200 locations.  We will be increasing your Gift card to $50 as an apology for the misunderstanding.     You can reach our corporate office 5 days a week Mon thru Fri. (8 AM to 7 PM EST) at *** *** **** or you can call Rose to confirm or reschedule at *** *** ****.  If you would like to cancel your appointment and your deposit back, please call Rose and let her know. Sincerely, Condominium Travel Club, Inc. Kyle ********Vice President Sales

On 7/21/24 my husband ******* and I agreed to a 90 minute travel service presentation with **** C. from Condominium Travel Club Inc. while at the ** Fair. We made a $40 deposit and were told we'd receive a $50 giftcard, 5-day cruise, and $300 vacation card. We attended the presentation via zoom on 8/4/24 at 12pm and did not receive the promised promotional gifts. The company sent bogus links that did not work. We contacted both **** C who scheduled our presentation and Shannon R** ******. **** stated we didn't attend the meeting and Shannon never replied. We attached an email with correspondence from Shannon proving we did attend. We also attached a screenshot of the gifts being shown as unavailable and bank account charge of the $40. The agreement is also attached with company information and gifts promised. We would either like the promotional gifts promised or refund of the $40.

******** *****, You claim you did not get the gifts we promised you after viewing our presentation.   According to our records, you viewed our program on 08/04/2024 with your partner ******* *****. We had ******* as the primary contact with your email which may be part of the confusion.  You were emailed your gifts to ****************** on 08/05/2024.  That email bounced back to us that same day. Apparently, we had a typo and put in an incorrect email.  On 08/08/2024 a correction was made, and a new email was sent to ******************.  On that same day our records show you accessed the email.  We emailed your gifts again on the 21st of August when we received this correspondence, just in case you could not or did not follow through with the email of 08/08/2024.   We see you registered for you Vacation Discount and the Promotional Cruise on 08/21/2024.  You did not register for the $50 Shopping Card yet.  We know you attended the presentation. I appears you were entered into our appointment system twice by mistake and one of the appointments was cancelled.  That is probably why **** did not think you attended.  Cannot explain why Shannon did not get back to you.  She is usually very good at follow ups.  We apologize for the problems that occurred with your gift distribution.  We will have **** refund your $40 deposit for any confusion that occurred over your gifts.  Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, Condominium Travel Club Kyle ********Vice President of Sales

In fall of this year I was at the *** * and signed up for a presentation that they promised a $300 giftcard, free 5 day cruise and another giftcard. I needed to pay a $20 fee and they sent a link for the **** link. I ended up in the hospital and had to reschedule. I have emailed and called them I can't tell you how many times to get my deposit back since this was clearly a scam and have not been able to reach anyone.

Myself and my wife ******* ***** went to the *** * in Springfield Mass. A company named Condominium Travel Club offered us a 5 day ******** Cruise and a $30.00 ****** gift card if we would attend a 90 minute presentation of their company. The person at the booth was ****. We had to pay $20.00 upfront to secure an appointment time which was on 9/26 Tuesday at 4:00 PM. We listened to the presentation and were not interested. On their brouchure they list a website to claim your 5 day ******** Cruise, ************************ to register for it. The site does not work and the URL can't be found. There is also another website in their invitation to claim a $300.00 vacation card, which was not even talked to us about, but you need a valid card code to register for that reward, which we never got. That site was *********************** We just want our 5 day ******** Cruise voucher which we were told it was good for 18 months and our ****** $30.00 gift card.

My wife, kids and I went to the **** county fair where we spoke to a lady by the name of Rhonda who was working a booth for the Condominium Travel Club. She informed us of the services and benefits of the service and asked if we wanted to do see their presentation in which we would get a 'up to 5 day ******** Cruise for 2' and a '300$ vacation card for seeing the presentation. We agreed and she informed use we need to pay 20$ to save our spot, but in return we would get a 50$ gift card for watching the presentation. We paid the money and selected our presentation time of 7:15pm on the following Tuesday (4/25/2023). We never received an email or phone call about the presentation. I called on Friday and left a message and than again today (5/1/2023) but have yet to get a call back. This is a scam and I would like what I was offered. I will never buy anything from them.

Better Business Bureau:  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The company refunded me the initial 20$ but feel they should've provided the incentives they offered for listening to their presentation. Which was a 50$ gift card and cruise for 2. But I'm good. I never want to do business with them.  Regards,  ****** ****

Signed up for a timeshare no commitment and cancel at any time as we were unsure of the business and questioned some of the concerns in reviews. The agent that signed us up informed us that if we are dissatisfied at any point we can cancel at no cost and no penalty. After trying to utilize some of the benefits we found that the properties and or service were completely unprofessional and inhabitable. We were also told we would be able to utalize the service for not only places to stay but rental cars and other benefits when traveling. On our first trip to Dominican Republic, we booked a timeshare with the agency when we got to the resort we realized it was more like a boarding house with more than one couple in each apartment with shared bathrooms. The place was completely run down and currently under construction. There was a sewer opening with horrible odor. Because of this we ended up leaving the boarding house to try and find another place to stay. The timeshare company could not help us locate another property and we’re unable to secure a rental like previously agreed. We were stranded in that area for hours trying to work with local companies to get around and find place to stay. We were also supposed to have shuttle service and was picked up 2 hours after there said time of arrival. After all of this we spoke to the agency and asked for a refund and they would not assist. After that we decided to cancel as it just seemed fraudulent and a lot of false advertising. After speaking with the agency they informed us we would not be able to cancel for a year. But during contractual agreement they said we would be able to cancel at anytime. We also were not told that in signing up we would be taking an additional loan from a third party bank for the timeshare. They told us to wait a year and call to cancel. After waiting we went to cancel with the company to find out that they transferred our account to a collection agency. They have not assisted with any issues.

Dear **** and *****, We do not sell timeshare and we did not book you in a timeshare in the Dominican Republic; therefore, we cannot help you with your complaint.  We do see a request for accommodations in ***** ***** ******** San Juan.  That is an all-inclusive resort.  We do not show you booking that request.  We see you booked two hotel weeks with us for two consecutive weeks at ****** **** Resort in Kissimmee in 2019.  You booked them for the low member rate of $199 a week. We offer members a diverse suite of services including car rentals at member only rates (well below public rates). We offer members Condo/Resorts, Cruises, Excursions, Guided Travel, All-Inclusive, Golf, Camping, Hotels, Discount retail stores and much more. You can choose to not continue your membership after the first year by not renewing your membership but you are responsible for the initial purchase amount agreed to whether you continue with our services or not.  We financed your membership in house (not through a third party) but you stopped paying for it and we had to hire a third party to collect the money you owed us. Sincerely,  Condominium Travel Club, Inc. Kyle H*******Vice President Sales
