September 24,2022 Photography for wedding On march 12th Asked for pictures to be removed off social media and blocked they are still posting as of 3 days ago

    Business Response

    Date: 03/24/2024

****** ***** paid $90 through ****** and $80 worth of raffle tickets on the day of her wedding. I originally asked for $175 but understand how stressful weddings can be on Bride and Groom. We had an agreement. I would not watermark the photos she wanted in return for us both to be able to advertise on social media as long as my business profile was tagged. The service provided was never an issue. The friendship ended a couple months after the wedding. This is not a professional issue on my end. I have receive several harassing messages after she slandered my business on ********. This is not an actual business but more so of a personal hobby. I did not profit off of this wedding due to the distance I had traveled. The photos I personally took, I retain copyright. The photos she has posted are public. If she changes the setting now, due to my response, on the posts I have screenshots showing otherwise.

The last screenshot provided is to show ****** ***** was interested in continuing more photos with me in the future after her wedding day, until the friendship personally ended. Two years ago, which I have not posted any of my work until now. I personally didn’t have the time to focus on my hobby back then as much as I have been trying to now. Professionally nothing has been done wrong. The agreed terms are still being held on my end because her current photos are still posted onto social media publicly. It has nothing to do with privacy, it has to do with the friendship ending. The complaint is personally drama and has disrupted my work flow once again. The friendship ending and this complaint arising now has nothing to do with my photography this is more personal.
