We have a neighbor and her 3 kids who moved above us , who’s kids are extremely loud running jumping banging, she has her Loud TV my mom called office and complained multiple times about the noises . The noises are still happening, I went to office 3 times within a month to fill out complaints and the same thing is still happening, my mom called the office Monday Oct 2nd to tell them about the recent noise that occurred Saturday September 30th they were running stomping until 12:12 am that’s what time the cop showed up,and she got a police report, I believe the manager in the office told her they were coming to our apartment to watch videos we’ve captured (stomping banging loud tv) no one never showed up they didn’t even called the next day which is today October 3rd….they’re not following their own policy or trying to resolve the issue

BBB, Thank you for your involvement with the noise dispute between neighbors 52B and 52D. Unfortunately, noise complaints by residents who live above others are not uncommon. Our buildings do not stifle noises made by walking. Louder noises are also heard. Depending on the downstairs neighbors' tolerance and the upstairs' neighbor's conscientiousness, problems persist or subside over time. 52B moved in on 3/31/2023 the upstairs neighbor in 52D moved in July 31, 2024. The neighbor in 52D has responded to the noise complaint on the following days: 8/14, 8/28, 9/6, and 10/2. She has also requested that her downstairs neighbor stop hitting the ceiling when she is upset with the noise level. 52B has complained on the following days: 8/31, 9/19, 9/28 and on  9/30 she sent the police to her upstairs neighbor's apartment. The police noted that children were playing a video game. The upstairs neighbor insists that the noises she and her children make are within "normal living sounds" during daylight hours when the neighbor below typically complains. This appears to be true. Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm and end at 8:00 am. The resident in 52B has been concerned about "stomping," "running," and "banging." It appears that the majority of noise falls under this category. The resident above has come to the office to complain in return because the neighbor downstairs keeps hitting the ceiling when she hears a noise-which is a violation. The legitimate complaint by B about D is regarding noise after hours, specifically regarding a loud tv. 52B called the police about this on 9/30. At this point, I am watching complaints by both of them regarding the only thing they are each doing wrong (from what I can tell). I will continue to monitor the situation and actions by both residents. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Regards, EB******
