After using Buckmans car wash I noticed fine scratches on one side of my vehicle. This damage was not there previously. I then reported to the 800 number on receipt and then drove to the actual location and spoke to a representative. He put me in contact with his manager and I made an appt. At the inspection of the vehicle the manager named Colton stated the damage would only be on one side if it was from their equipment at which time I again stated that was exactly the casein this situation to which he stated he had been in the business 10 years and it was not their fault atwhich time I politely ended the conversation.Business response

We reviewed the damage on the vehicle and it is not consistent with damage that could possibly happen at the car wash. After explaining this to the customer he was not happy and left. We always evaluate any alleged damage and offer to walk customers through the tunnel to see equipment and physically show how and way the damage is not possible to happen if that is the case like this scenario.

I am a member of the monthly wash club that is charged to my credit card monthly. For the last few weeks the Brockport location was shut down for new equipment to be installed. Wash Club members were not notified that the location would be shutdown. On Sunday, February 13th they reopened and I went to get my car washed. When I got there I was informed that the location had changed to ****** and is no longer Buckmans. I was told by the employee that my Buckmans account was automatically canceled and I would need to sign up as a ****** customer and that the first month would be $.01 as a promotion then it would be $25+tax/month. At the top of the form that was filled out it was still listed as Buckmans. The next morning 2/14 my credit card was charged by Buckmans for $19.99+tax. I contacted Buckmans and told them I no longer wanted the membership and I had been told it was already canceled. A representative from Buckmans emailed me and said it wasn't true and the charge could not be refunded per a higher up in the company. I requested my membership to expire after this charge but I do not want the membership. They have no communication and tell different stories and I am not comfortable with my credit card on file with the company.Business response

Some of the information listed in this complaint is not accurate, there was a new payment system installed which required us to transfer customers from one system to another. This customer was charged and had a full month of service for only $.01 due to being charged $19.99 - for the same month. In order to satisfy this customer we did reach out and refund the $19.99 so they did get a whole month of unlimited car washes for $.01.Customer response

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear The information that I gave was accurate of what I was told by the employees at this business. They should train their employees properly not make claims that it’s the customer that isn’t accurate. I did get my refund and I’m sure you will get more complaints about this company or under their new name ****** as there are many complaints of damage to vehicles that have used this car wash on local social media pages.Because I did get my money back the complaint can be closed.
