1 starI set up move last May, called them now & no one returned my call x2 or responded to an e-mail. I gave a deposit of 918.00 & lost out on that money. A lot of deception, I had no idea. They even sent me a contract. It seemed real but was not.Review fromKaila F

1 starWhy can’t we give ZERO stars?! I’m heartbroken and stressed beyond belief.. I hired READY RELOCATION EXPERTS, and spoke with Sean, who LIED THROUGH HIS TEETH to get our business… RRE is a broker (this was not disclosed) which connected me to US INTERSTATE AND RAIL. Our original quote from (RRE) was around $1700. By the time I was connected to US INTERSTATE AND RAIL, I was locked in with non-refundable deposits. The 1st $688, before they(RRE) re-assessed our items, and changed our quote to just over $3200 after re-assessing our items. The 2nd deposit $830. I couldn’t afford to back out. By the time USIR established what items we had; they(USIR) told us we owed another $1,500 before they would start moving items. Our quote was now over $4000. They picked up our items on 9/20/2023. Delivery spread was between 9/23-11/04/2023. Today is 11/07/2023 and our items are still in the originating state, still with no delivery driver confirmed. I have not once gotten a curtesy call from RRE OR USIR, EVEN after they’re beyond their delivery spread. I have created a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and next will be the insurance company, which can’t be completed till our items are delivered. I am shocked they’re still in business and screwing over families left & right. It’s heartbreaking and just WRONG.Review fromMatthew M

1 starThese guys set me up with U.S. Interstate and Rail. Not only did these guys offer a discount that they didn't give, the moving company then increased my move by $800 (tried to increase by twice that). On top of that, they destroyed several things. Box springs are broken, TV screen cracked and distorted, pack n play busted, and keyboard stand ripped off the computer desk. They sent me to movingclaims.com to file a claim. That came back with an offer of $60 time replace/fix my things. Absolutely SCAM. My lawyer is filing the paperwork now for the moving company. Avoid these guys at all costs.Review fromRamona D

1 starDo NOT USE THEM. Booked a move through ****** Van lines from Montana to Georgia and still have not received my items. This company is the relocation Expert (??)who collects the down payment and supposedly coordinates the movers from state to state. They use contracted movers and the mover (1) they sent came alone, luckily most of my stuff was already packed by me otherwise we would still be there packing. I am elderly but my brother who is elderly also had to assist the mover loading the truck, it has been one mess after another. They will not call back or the message when you call says that the office is closed. They were sure responsive to get your money though. My stuff is still setting in a public pay storage building in Montana. I feel like I have been robbed of my personal possessions and they are being held hostage. If there were a negative number to give they would be in that instead of a one. By the way I have already paid in full so I guess they could care less about their obligations at this point. If I could get into the storage unit I would transport the items myself.Review fromFulvia F

1 starSCAM!!!!! Stay away!!! These are DISHONEST brokers. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE. They will tell you a pick up date and delivery date. DO NOT TRUST A WORD!!! They will sell your move to a company. They will pick up your stuff. The moving company they sold our job to, asked us to sign bill of landing (with no delivery date on), by voice only. READ THE FINE PRINT. They asked us extra $$$ at pick up.. and of course in panic that movers won’t pick up the boxes, you will pay. Final bill of landing has, in fine print, a 45 day windows never mentioned during any calls. Stuff is in storage (so they say and won’t give an address) after a week, while my daughter has been sleeping on a floor in Chicago. To make this worse if you want to pick up your stuff and drive it yourself (an option I am exploring), you have to pay for the full amount of the move in advance, for them to release your stuff!!! HOPE YOU ALL ROT IN HELL FOR THE GRIEF YOU ARE CAUSINGReview fromDavid P

1 starThis company is very dishonest, deceptive and very slick. They are literally con artists and now that I have searched the web I see that they have a long list of deception which makes one wonder how they can still be in business. My daughter hired them to move her from NY to Chicago and she was told they would be there in 2 days. After spending the day waiting for the “movers” they tried unsuccessfully to contact them till a day later when she was informed that they don’t know when her move will take place and that if she read the contract closely it stipulates that they can take up to 6 weeks before they have to deliver! All her belongings are as of today sitting in a warehouse in NY. Don’t do any kind of business with this company. You’ll regret it.Review fromKAREN H

1 starDon't be fooled by the professional facade like I was. I got scammed out of $4400 by these snakes. My involvement with Ready Relocation began back on May when I requested a quote. I spoke with a representative named Robert F****, and we discussed the circumstances of the move and he provided me with a quote. At that time, I paid a deposit, payable to ******** Consulting Group. The fact that they required an ACH should have caused me to run, but I was dumb. The story goes on much further, but my space here is limited. These people need to be stopped. I feel a fool, but please let my loss keep you from being one too. I used to work IT for a debt collection service, I should have recognized the signs of a snake.Review fromTim B

1 starI unfortunately fell victim to Ready Relocation's legal moving scam. They pulled the old switcheroo on me - twice. The first price was reasonable, although the rep said if I didn't agree to a down payment before hanging up the phone, the discount would disappear (the first red flag.) When taking things out of storage in my basement, I packed books from larger containers into smaller boxes because of the weight, and added a couple of containers with tools. All of it fit into a 10' x 12' room, up to 6' high. When I called the company to report the change, they doubled the price, although very little was added. I asked them why and they said I needed a bigger truck. I reluctantly agreed because the closing was coming up and things needed to be moved. When the mover, Carefree Movers, Inc. arrived, they said they had to call Ready Relo (the brokers) to "verify" the pick-up, and while we were standing there with the truck door opened, they tripled the original price, saying I needed even more space! They knew I had no choice, as new owners were closing and moving in the next day! The foreman then threatened me, saying that if my wife, who was at our new home in another state, was not waiting at the door to pay the remaining two thousand dollars plus in cash only, he would drive away and dump our belongings! No checks or credit cards, although they did accept them for the first two payments. He then harassed me (and later my wife) for tips. Very rude and aggressive, besides being cheaters. I advise everyone to never do business with either of these rip-off artists. Daniel O in the previous post was right, but he luckily avoided the trap. That being said, we did receive all our items, although it was a horrendous experience. Avoid these thieves!Review fromNatalie J

1 starNot honest and ripping you off. They lied about my estimate and mislead me. They lied about what I was moving and they tried charging me $2,500 more than my estimate when the moving guys did an tour. I had moved most of the stuff on my estimate list before they came. Then, they didn’t inform me that they weren’t moving my stuff to my place the same day. They never informed me that they are an interstate company and can hold my belongings for many days. The moving guys didn’t show up on time. They arrived hours late. The company is a scamming business. They aren’t sorry for how they are treating and scamming customers. They wouldn’t refund me for the deposit even though they were at wrong. They caused extreme distress and moving problems. They are scammers and dishonest. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! They screw you over and you will be out of a lot of money.
