    New driveway installed within 24hrs there was a large area of ponding water in font of garage after a few hours of light rain. Was told "it's not that bad" by their foreman Gary. The owner siad he who come out and look but didn't show or attempt to contact me.

    This complaint is unfortunately NOT completely True and the customer is failing to leave out a few very important details.  We paved this driveway Tuesday afternoon 10/1/24. On Wednesday Morning at 7:11 AM the customer reached out to the office manager by Text letting us know there was some standing water on the driveway. Shortly after this he spoke with Gary, the Manager of the company, and Gary was at the customers house at 8:42 AM Wednesday to evaluate the driveway (FIRST thing the very next morning). The customer declined the advice from Gary and Our paving Manager as to how to fix it.  The customer then Spoke with Michael Tandoi (the owner) Directly on the phone regarding the next steps. It is currently 1:30 PM on Thursday and the Owner of the company is currently at this customer's house fixing the issue. There has been plenty communication since the driveway was installed on Tuesday until now and we are working to get the issue resolved for the customer.  Thank you.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   The owner did show up to "fix" the problem against my wishes as it was not a appropriate solution, there are now two very large patches in the new driveway and the water ponding has been made much worse making its way into my garage. It appears as Mike Tandoi is not capable of correcting the problem.  Regards, **** ****

    June 2022 I signed a contract to complete a “tearout” of our driveway and we paid $7,200 for the project. They worked on the driveway over the summer and into the fall and were to return in Spring 2023 to finish the project with topcoat sealing. Before they came, we called to tell them part of the driveway was sunken in and they said they would fix it when they came to seal it. They examined spot in April and returned a couole of months later and filled it with gravel and tar and said they will return for the topcoat once that area was dry and ready to coat. That treatment was not successful as the filling was not enough to level the area and they said they would come back to see what can be done. To this day, no one has shown to fix it and our driveway still has not received the repair or topcoat. We have sent texts, went to office in person, sent certified letter and emails trying to resolve this. The letter explained that we were going to seek legal means and file with BBB, yet no response!! They have not retured our calls or emails just promises that someone will call is back. I have text messages from Gary Tandoi promising to handle it. We paid in full for a service that has not been completed and promises to repair that has yet to happen. The suken section of our driveway is still there waiting for them to return to fix and finish the job.

    Collects water in drive way there is a big dip in the middle and there are visible lines were they didn’t roll it right

    We joined in with our neighborhood for group driveway sealing, and were contacted by the company regarding any additional services we may want. We opted for an additional $100 charge for a driveway patch, and this was paid along with the prepayment for the sealing. No timeline was provided for the patch, and no patch was provided with the sealing. On contacting the company two weeks later, and on mentioning a refund they apologized and promised a patch the next Monday. Next Monday came, and I received a call apologizing for forgetting the patch, with assurances that it would be done that Wednesday or Thursday. This was more than a month ago, and since then no calls have been answered, and no voicemails returned, and there is still no patch on our driveway. We just want our $100 back.

    Original driveway put in Spring/Summer 2022 - contract provided. No issues with this process. Warranty to new driveway shown on yellow document, to have the driveway seal coated in year 1 by them to extend the warranty. Contract from 4/8/23 to schedule the required seal coating. Paid via check when work done on 7/20/23. This date was of Tandoi's choosing. I was not offered a choice. Rained by 10pm on 7/20/23, date of service. Photo attached showing most of the issue, the seal coat washed off the driveway and is all over my siding, trim, pedestrian door, and overhead garage door. I have called Tando to get them to come back and reseal coat my driveway so I could have the extended warranty in place. To date, they have failed to come back. I have been told that they are too busy doing commercial work, they made 2 appointments, 9/16 and 9/22 and did not show up for either one. I have left a message today 9/25 and texted the girl in the office to let her know they did not show for my appointment. I am thoroughly frustrated that I can't get the work I paid for finished so the warranty on my new driveway from Summer 2022 is intact. They don't answer the phone when you call. I don't know what to do before the season for seal coating is over and I am without the work completed that I paid for July 20, 2023.

    Tandoi has finished this job for *****. There were some scheduling issues and issues with employees that have been fully addressed. We hope if there is anything we can do for the customer in the future she will reach out.  Our crew cleaned the sealer from the customers garage door and resealed the driveway. The customers warranty still stands.

They have rectified the situation to my full satisfaction. The person who schedules the seal coating was always professional with me.     Our new driveway was installed on 10/11/2022. The driveway was improperly graded during installation and which causes flooding into our garage. The company has been contacted several times within the warranty period and they have not fixed the issue. The middle of our driveway is 4 inches higher than our garage entrance. The driveway needs to be torn out, graded properly and replaced. The road is below the grade of our garage and the driveway needs to be graded in that direction.

    They have failed to show up and repair the driveway they put in the previous year. Just in the past two weeks they promised to be out three times, and they come up with an excuse or don't show up at all. This has been going on for over a year.

    BBB spoke with the owner of the business and his management and the following was relayed: I went out to his house personally.  There is nothing wrong with the driveway.  He wants a free sealcoat.  We always back up our work and do right by people.  We tried to do that in this case too.  We've been back out there about 4 times now.  This customer flipped out on my crew and my manager.  He left my manager a mocking voicemail calling him names.  My manager called the guy right back and then the guy then texted my manager, "you better hope that you don't see me in the streets," or something threatening like that.  My manager has been with me a long time and he is very level-headed guy.  He tried to diffuse and de-escalate the situation but this customer FLIPPED OUT on my guys.  I'm not going back there and I'm not sending my guys back there.  It's not safe and I will not let my guys be treated like that.   Again, there is nothing wrong with the driveway.  He didn't backfill the edges.  In all of our contracts, we give our customers a list of DO's and DON"T's.  We go over these before the contract is signed.  One of the DO's is to backfill the edges.  This customer didn't do that.  Also, this is not the customer's house- it's his parent's house.  Thank you.

    Tandoi installed our driveway, we had them sealcoat it as stated in the agreement. We have multiple of huge ponds in the driveway that freeze. They have said they CAN fix it but they haven't and won't say when. I've called and texted Gary C***** many, many times for repair. I'm concerned about slipping and falling on the ice this winter and my liability. I've contacted my insurance company and they suggested contacting you.

    Response taken by phone:  The driveway was installed in 2019 so it is out of warranty.  We did go to her property  to look at the driveway at 8:00 on 9/14.  The driveway is 4 years old and settling is a natural occrrance.
