      If I had the option to give zero stars I certainly would. Their customer service is awful with virtually no follow-up. When you sign up they don't talk to you about their fees. If you have a checking account their "overdraft protection" is a joke. They'll pay it but charge you a $28 fee. If you take that protection off but something tries to go through they won't pay it and STILL charge you a $28 fee. Two weeks ago on 07/08 I received an overdraft fee in error. They refunded it and they never do that unless it's their fault. On Monday of this week a transaction for $25 went through and since gave me yet another overdraft fee because they didn't do the refund until today. Today, three more transactions went through and three more $28 fees went through. IF they had not charged me an overdraft in error and waited so long to refund it, the money for all but one of the 4 transactions this week would have been there. I knew the 4th transaction would jot and planned to pay that overdraft fee. I did NOT plant for $84 in 3 more fees. You call, they don't even care. Zero empathy and not even any sympathy, just launch into their "policies". I can tell you their policy certainly isn't customer service. I've never been treated so badly by an establishment I keep my money in. Or just turned away when there was clearly something amiss that was not entirely my fault. DO NOT open an account here.

      0 stars. Waste days and hours of time fill out paperwork, sign things, just to get hard inquiries and destroy your credit. Horrible horrible.

      This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. We moved last year to an area that our usual bank was nowhere near, so we opened a local account with AmeriCu. Unforunately there was times where we were pretty tight on money, we watched our money like a hawk. However, Even though my wife and I both receive payroll deposits from the same employers EVERY Friday, I had an automatic payment get sent through for friday morning, this bank, RETURNED the payment, charged an over draft fee, THEN credited my account with the deposit. Are you kidding me? This happened this morning, thank GOD that the negative balance was minimal, however due to this practice, I am closing my account today. I do not support Predatory corporate practices.
