I received a facebook notification about spin and win, so I did spin and I said I won $250 . Had to make an appointment to get said prize, sales guy started writing down my information for a car which I never said I was interested in, gave him my winning number and he handed me $20 not $250 I’m assuming because I didn’t buy the car they tried to get me to bye that’s unfair practice and it was at least twenty people in and out of the dealer ship excepting more then $20 it’s all bait and switch

Yesterday I received a mailer from James Mitsubishi of Rome, for fun not expecting to win I did the pull tabs and it surprisingly showed I had won "$1,000 or an HDTV." Being skeptical still, I read the front and back of the mailer and it showed the number to call and a pin below to tell them to confirm if you had truly won. I called the number and a receptionist answered at James Mitsubishi, I read off the number to her and she confirmed that yes, I had won. They told me I could come in whenever to collect my prize just to bring the mailer and my ID. $1,000 would really help me financially right now and I had about an hour until I had to be to work so I drove from New York Mills to Rome totally out of my way to go collect my prize, now happy and excited to pay some bills down. When I arrived I was sat down and a sales rep pulled my number up on his computer. There was a wheel to spin and whatever you landed on was what you won. This is not what I was told or did it state on the mailer anywhere this step was involved. Also, there was a new prize option on the computer a $2 winner that never was shown on the mailer. The wheel spun and I ended up with $2 and a scratch off ticket. I asked the sales rep how they could say and confirm I won the "$1,000 or HDTV" and when I come in give me $2 instead? I know it's not that gentlemens fault he doesn't set the rules or anything like that, but to the owner/owners of James Mitsubishi...come on. That was the slimiest, shadiest, and low sales tactic I've ever experienced in 27 years of being alive. Legally I don't really think that's right but it's not worth going to court for $1,000. I would say to anyone thinking about buying or going to James Mitsubishi STEER CLEAR. If that's how they treat people who aren't even customers I can't imagine how they would treat vehicle owners.

Good morning, ******! My name is Joe M******* and I am one of the managers at James Mitsubishi. I am very sorry for the confusion over the flyer that you recently received, and I would like to take the opportunity to clarify a few things on there for you. If you read the wording on the bottom of the flyer right below the $1400 voucher it clarifies the prizes. It states, "the pull tab does not give you a choice, but an opportunity to win a prize" and then continues to go over the odds of winning each prize. It also states that the winning number written in the address bar next to the name is the number that this is all based on. I again apologize for any confusion and if you need any further clarification, I would be more than happy to go over the flyer in depth with you to resolve this issue. Thank you for your time and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
