              My doctor ordered me a CPAP machine from Hampton Homecare. On March 7th 2024, I completed the order directly with this company via chat. In the chat the rep asked me for my credit card information for initial and recurring payments, and home address which I provided. I have two complaints. (1) After providing my correct home address (********************) they shipped it to my old address (***************. (2) After the chat, Hampton Homecare sent a non-encrypted email with the entire chat history which included my name, date of birth, home address, and full credit card information including security code. This was very careless by Hampton Homecare putting my personally identifiable information at risk of getting stolen, as the method of transaction was not encrypted or secured. Id rather not do business with this company and am requesting a full refund after returning the machine. I also want BBB to demand that Hampton Homecare change their very unsecure way of handling PII and financial information via email.

              This is a bogus company that provides shoddy equipment to people who really need homecare health devices. My 90 year old father had received a faulty CPAP machine, which was covered by ********* and ordered through the his doctor's ******* Though we called the company several times, to complain about its inability to work for an entire night, we were promised they would send someone, or look into it. The doctor confirmed it was faulty and also called on our behalf. Hampton Homecare never serviced or returned our calls, and every time we called they said, "we'll look into it and call you back." The next thing we know, we find out that they reported to ******** that my father was not compliant, and not using the machine, so they dropped his coverage. So now he is forced to go without it, unless he does another CPAP test, which would be difficult for him. Therefore he is now being denied care that he needs because of an inept company and faulty product. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
