Holy Family Monuments put my Family through H*** On February 1, 2021 I purchased a headstone for my Mother from ***** at Holy Family Monuments. At the time she told me they were very busy because of the pandemic and it may take two months. I understood and waited 2 months before calling to find out the status of my mothers tombstone. ALL CALLS WENT TO VOICEMAIL AND I WOULD LEAVE MESSAGES THAT WERE NEVER RETURNED! Then the day before my Mother's birthday in September (8 months later) I called and ***** answered the phone. I said I've been trying to get through for months and I need to know when my mother's tombstone would be installed. *****s said she didnt know and to call back Monday. I told her Ive been calling and no one ever answers the phone. I was very upset and said my mother's birthday is tomorrow and she still has an unmarked grave, Ive waited 8 months and I need an answer. Her response was "I AM SORRY I ANSWERED THE ****** ". Wow A few weeks later ***** called and said my mothers tombstone was finally ready and would be installed in 2 weeks and she would call when it was installed. SHE NEVER CALLED. So I called her and she said she was to BUSY to call me and said my mother's tombstone was installed on her grave. I was so happy and the next day I went to visit my Mother's grave to see it and decorate it with plantings etc. To my horror the tombstone was not installed like ***** told me. It was tossed on the grass a few feet away and there was flimsy piece of wood over my Mother's grave! My husband lifted the wood and I was horrified that I could see down into the hole. I almost fainted. She lied, it was not installed. The Cemetery told me that ***** made a very strange request and asked them if she could deliver tombstone to the gravesite Apparently the before the foundation was poured! I cant believe my Mothers grave was disrespected in this manner and I have never been treated more poorly by a business in my life.
