I called ** company for our broken dishwasher and asked them to recommend certified repair shops locally. They recommended G and G. I called and made an appointment and they came to my home and without removing the dishwasher said it was a motor issue. They charged me for the motore which is under warranty. After several phone calls they refunded the charges for the motor but not the repairs. I scheduled a follow up appointment and they came to the home and tried to remove the dishwasher to replace the motor but in the process caused damages to my kitchen countertop and cabinets. They did not replace the motor and instead said they would send another tech out. They scheduled the appointment 2 more times and no one called or showed up. The work was never completed. I have text messages, phone calls and emails as proof that the work was never completed. I called the company and they have not refunded the money I paid to have the work done, excluding the cost of damages to my kitchen.Initial Complaint

On January 10, 2025 I purchased a new dryer, that was covered under a warranty for repair by G&G Appliance. About 10 days after I bought it it stopped heating. I called G&G and they sent a repairman out on February 3rd. He determined it had 2 bad parts, the motor and a wiring harness, that needed to be replaced. The parts were ordered to be shipped directly to me. The 2nd part came in on March 6th. On March 8th a repairman came to my house, installed the parts, and the dryer still wouldn't work. He tried contacting G&G for assistance and instead of getting help from their troubleshooting department he was told that he had several calls to make that day and to "figure it out". He left and I haven't heard anything from G&G. In addition, when you call them you get a recording saying they will call you back (they don't). I have waited over a month for repair on a brand new dryer. G&G doesn't communicate, nor apparently do they actually fix anything. I would like my dryer fixed. I have been patient, but I only had use of my dryer for 10 days out of the 2 months that I've owned it. I would like G&G to do what they are supposed to do and fix it. My chest freezer stopped working, paid for extra warranty though Lowes. ***** hires G and G to fixed their customers units. G and G missed 3 appts at first, finally made it to the 4th appt. Service tech asked me what part i think the chest freezer needs. he finally decided it needed a seal motor, after i explained what was happening. service tech only read the temp of the freezer and check the ** on the back. Made an appt to fix the unit, didn't show.... I had to call the horrible customer ********************** to find out G and G cant fix the unit and wasn't going to call to tell us anything. I have missed multiple days of work. G and G is still filing the correct paper work to get this unit replace by Lowes.Initial Complaint

I paid this company to make a repair to a broken washing machine. When they came, they refused to make the repairs because they maintained that I attempted to make the repairs myself. I am not a handy person. I never made any attempt to repair the machine. I contacted the company on several cases to request my money back. They refused to do so.Customer Answer

I had an appointment at home on Tuesday Jan 8 and spent all day home and they did not show up. They said the would give me the first appointment on Jan ******. That same day on Jan 7th at 4:58 pm they send me an Email they are coming between 1-5pm on Jan 9th. I called on Jan 9th at 1:15pm and they tell me they should be there at 5pm. They never showed up.I call on the phone in Jan 9th at 4:35pm and after 1 hour and 6 minutes somebody finally answered the phone at 5:51!pm. She tells me to hang on and she will speak to the dispatcher. She then disconnects the call and never calls back. At 8:15pm I get a standard generated text from ******** saying they can not make it today and they want me to call back for an appointment. My machine is still broken and G&G service ***** with phone service. I called them Friday Jan 10 and after 50 minutes I hung up after nobody answered the call. They need to be exposed and they need to pay me $100 for making me stay home 2 days straight without providing service.I reported the lousy service to ** who will try and help me get a service appointment. I am very unhappy right now since I bought the machine back on Sept 23, 2024 and had service men come here 5 times already. PC ******* UPPER MANAGEMENT refused to give me a new machine when I requested well before the first year.Initial Complaint

I have been waiting for my washer repair since my first visit Nov. 6. A part was ordered and technician returned Nov. 11 but could not fix. Another tech came Nov 13 but part did not fix problem. A transmission was ordered and I was told it should be 5 days. I called for status on Nov 19 and told part would be in Nov. 25. I called again Nov. 26 and repair was scheduled Dec 3. I texted for confirmation on Dec. 2 and received a reply that tech was out and rescheduled for Dec 7. Texted 12/6 to confirm receiving call bk rescheduling for today, Dec11. After hearing nothing again, I called Dec 11 to confirm and was told a reschedule for Dec 19. This is not acceptable. Please reschedule someone else and fix my machine. Thank youCustomer Answer

Our whirlpool stove broke, the ignitor had previously burnt out several times. We called G&G for a repair, telling them its most likely the ignitor. We decided to buy a warranty since the stove requires a repair too often. The tech comes and diagnoses it as such, but didnt bring the part so we had to schedule another visit. The tech changes the ignitor at the next visit and turns out, thats not the problem, its a different part. This happens 2x more. The tech tells us our stove was discontinued and there are no parts available for our stove. Whirlpool sent a part that fit into our stove, but its not the correct serial# for our model and the unit could not read the part. We spoke to G&G and they wanted to send another part which I declined and shared what the tech told us. I then called Whirlpool directly and asked to use my warranty, they said we have an open ticket and ***** is still saying its not damaged and they can fix it with another part. I have been without a stove for 3 months, I missed the biggest sale price of the year to buy a new stove on Black Friday which is a necessity that I cant afford. G&G refuses to state the stove cant be fixed and wants to keep setting up service visits and throw more parts at it. Im not asking for a free stove. I gave them 3 months, 3 parts and 4 visits. Other companies will try servicing a unit and if it cant be fixed the 2nd time they trash it. I asked if I allow a tech to come 1 more time and try to fix the unit can you guarantee this will be the last, they said no. How long will this go on and how long will I be without an oven? This started in August of this year. Our microwave stopped working on our built in Whirlpool Microwave/Oven. They have been an absolute nightmare to work with. It takes them forever to do anything. We have had a technician (don't get me started on this complete weirdo they've been sending here who talks about incredibly personal things) to our house multiple times. He has been wrong about the problem every time. So they have to order a new part, but they won't schedule the next appointment until the part comes in, so there's 2+ weeks in between each appointment. It has now been almost 2 months since they first started coming here, and yesterday we had a confirmed appointment that he just didn't show up for. I called today and they said it was because the wrong part came in, but they didn't think that was important to let us know that. So now they have to order a new part, we have to wait for that to come in, and THEN schedule another appointment. I called and asked to speak to a manager, and they said they would transfer me and it just rang and nobody answered. This company is an absolute joke. They are embarrassingly bad at what they do, and their customer ********************** is beyond terrible. I've spent almost $1000 so far to fix this minor issue because they keep ordering the wrong parts.Customer Answer
