Pattern of Complaint:
On October 22nd, November 3rd and November 13, 2020, BBB attempted to contact Heavy Hauling regarding a pattern of serious complaints. BBB received complaints in the past 36 months alleging:
showing up at houses unsolicited with extra blacktop or stone from a recent job, quoting a low price usually $250 per 100 sq. feet, then doing work but not completing the job. Consumers have payed for the work, but you never come back to finish. Furthermore, consumers are unable to contact you to discuss the finishing of the job and they report the jobs are significantly below standard. The business failed to respond to all of the complaints through BBB’s complaint process. 
BBB notified Heavy Hauling about the pattern of complaints and asked the business to voluntarily cooperate in eliminating the pattern by providing a written response outlining the specific steps it would implement in order to avoid similar complaints in the future.
As of December 2, 2020, Heavy Hauling has not responded regarding the pattern of complaints. BBB has concerns about Heavy Hauling's business practices and urges consumers to use caution based on their complaint activity and lack of responsiveness.
