This company totally scammed me and gave me the runaround with the registration/title for my vehicle. I purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty and never received any paperwork for the purchase or coverage. Just two months after purchase I got messages that maintenance was required. When I reached out to the salesman via email I got no response, the phone just goes dead when you dial it. I went to their website which is no longer existent. These people need to get in touch with me and provide me with what I need especially a refund for the title/plates fees that they charged me for but never fulfilled. **** sold me this car and disappeared off the face of the map.

I bought a car (infiniti Q50) from the dealership in 2019 which they offered and included an additional warranty for additional costs. Now I need to use the warranty as I'm having transmission issues, which the coverage should still be good per the service contract. However, upon contacting the warranty place, they informed me the dealership never paid them so the warranty is not active, even though I paid! The dealership is no longer in business as it probably reopened under a new name, but the Owner needs to provide my money back!

Good Afternoon,I'm writing this complaint against NYC Motorcars formerly known as Planet Mitsubishi. On August6, 2023, When we sat I advised I would be using my own financing. **** stated they would have to finance the car and I could refinance after 45 days with no penalty. I asked "what does your financing entail?" as I want to see what I was actually paying for. He advised the car was 3k more than what was advertised, stating on the site it was due to a 3k down payment which is standard for all of their calls. Heres what I initially had a problem with.**Car is $3,000.00 more than advertised online.**I was also advised I had to purchase a warranty on initial vehicle sale. At least 90 days or more. I purchased the extended warranty for $3000 which was for 4 years/100,000 miles with the dealership. After I agreed on the initial sales price and placed a hold of $999.10, they stated they could have the car ready upon our return since the dealership was closed at this point of time.Upon my return on 8/9/2023, I was advised that I had to meet with financing to finalize the sale. I also advised them I wanted the grill on the car fixed and they advised we could return to get it done. They did a form called "we owe you". Their financing department makes you purchase the following after the sales agreement and after youve put down your down payment or the sale transaction could not be completed.$1,000.00. LoJack system (Non existent- no access to such a system in the car)Another warranty, similar to the one in the initial purchase price. Minimum of $1,500.00 Expedited paperwork fee which includes vehicle registration. $1,000.00 Besides the above, the biggest issues are as follows- The dealership is now closed, I paid for warranties that cannot be honored, my grill has not been replaced and my car is not registered. What did I pay for? Not counting time and aggravation, Im out $5000.00.22,995 advertised price turned into ******

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The lemon law which the business referenced covers vehicles that require repair that have been in the shop multiple times and that is not a concern of mine.  I have already filed a complaint with the **** This does not resolve my vehicle not being registered after paying for expedited paperwork.  This does not resolve the multiple vehicle warranties that I paid for that cannot be used, redeemed and/or honored. I cannot use and do not have access to the "LOJACK" system that is allegedly installed in my vehicle.  This also does not repair the grill that was broken on the delaership lot which is included in YOUR OWN vehicle website which you PROMISED to repair.  Help me understand how you thought your response would resolve ANY of the above.  Let's find a simple solution here and resolve what was paid for and promised.

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

      Sincerely,

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on 8/1/23. Their salesman **** assured me that the car was inspected. I had to go back in a week because they owed me 2 tires. At this time I also told them that my steering wheel felt a little hard to turn. They said it just needed a little bit of power steering fluid which they added. I went home a week later my brakes were squeaking. I called and spoke to ********** told him about the breaks he told me to bring the car in. On 8/28/23 I go to get my breaks checked, they sent me to their second service department. The repair shop they sent me to inspected my car. They told me my car had a crack in the transmission and that my axels were leaking. They refused to release my car to me. They stated that the car was unsafe to be on the street and they could not legally release the car to me. They advised me to return to the dealership to see what they could possibly do for me as far as getting me into a different vehicle. The finance person told me that I did not have warranty on the vehicle. I reminded him of the 90 day warranty and the extended warranty that I purchased with the vehicle. He wanted to get me into another bank to get me a warranty to be able to fix the car. I refused and asked to speak with a manager. A gentleman by the name of ****** came he assured me that he would get to the bottom of the issue and get back to me the next day by noon. The next day no one contacted me I tried calling this business they shut down the business plus all phone numbers affiliated to the business. I live 2 1/2 hours away from the dealership. I could not go in person to find out what was going on. I was left in the dark for days. I called the repair shop for an update they told me that the dealership picked up my car. I could not get a hold of no one. I called the bank to make them aware of these issues. After all this occurred I looked into my paperwork. My signature was forged on the contract with the bank. In addition the invoice with the car price breakdown was altered.

I purchased an 2014 Infiniti Q50 from this car dealership, the same night driving home I heard a whining noise coming from the car even if that car was sitting and driving. As long as the car was on I heard the noise. I then reached out to **** the Manager of the sales Department and explained to him about the noise I was hearing and he said they will fix it no charge since I was still under my 90 day warranty. We set up a day to drop the car off to get fixed. Before my set day to drop the car off I brought the car to the actual Infiniti dealership itself and had them look at the car and run a diagnostic check for. That I paid $210 for. They gave me a list of things that was wrong with the car and told me the main reason that the car was making the noise was because the A/C compression was messed up I need it replaced. Which was also causing my A/C to blow out Warm/Hot. The car also had a burning oil smell which they stated was caused also by the old A/C compressor. Once they gave me the list of things wrong with the car I immediately the same day sent it to **** he then called me and said okay bring it the day we originally set the service appointment for and everything will be fixed no charge. I dropped the car off to there service department and they had my car for about two weeks a little more. Throughout the two weeks I reached out to **** a few times just asking how everythings going, for updates, and if there was a pickup date in mind. **** was not there the day of the pick up. Once I got there everybody working was confused and didnt even know that my car was being serviced or what I was talking about. Eventually they figured it out and I was given my keys. The minute I started my car it was the same noise and driving the same. I reached out to **** and he insisted that everything was fixed. I took the car back to the Infiniti dealership to check if the things were fixed and they indicated nothing was fixed. Everything was the same as it was

NYC Motors Cars of Hempstead Located at *************** formally known as PLANET MITSUBISHI. Purchased a used Tesla 2022. The dealership agreed to pay off trade in vehicle for the amount of $28,000. on June 22nd 2022. It's now July 22nd NO PAYOFF PAYMENT received. I've called the dealership and the bank a number of times to find out about the payoff. The Dealership has lied and told me a number of times it was handled. I and currently having to pay for both cars to not effect my credit with missed payments. The Dealership also lied about having a lowjack system installed on the vehicle. which told to me that It was installed and no way around it. This Dealership is by far the worst dealership on earth and I ***************** involved.

I have checked with accounting to see that the vehicle trade has been paid off
The customer should not receive any other ******** for the trade in vehicle.
All of our cars are equipped with Lojack prior to sale as it is our inventory control system.
The vehicle has this product prior to the sale and the customer has an option to subscribe to LOJACK

Planet Automotive scams its customers on service. When I first purchased my ****** Rogue from them, I was assured that I would receive free service for some time. When I showed up for the free service, I was told after they started servicing the vehicle that I would be charged. I told them to stop what they were doing immediately and refused to pay for the oil change and tire rotation that was already performed. After this experience, I started getting text messages from "**** the customer care representative at ********************" offering a free oil change to "earn [my] business back." I scheduled the free oil change which showed a couple of other services as "included" and some that had a fee. I attached the included services to the appointment. I received a call the day of the appointment and was told the oil change was only free for the first service (which they tried to **** me for) and that the "included" services only covered checking to see if the service was required. If they refuse to perform the services as promised (for free) I intend to not only shop elsewhere for my wife's new vehicle and all future service but will also be filing a complaint with the ************** ************************* detailing these unethical business practices. I may also file a lawsuit against the company seeking monetary compensation and a court order forcing a change in their business practices after consulting with my family attorney on Monday, depending on attorney's advice. This company not only overcharges for vehicles and services but will blatantly lie to trick you into getting service done so they can then charge you for the "free" service. I'd advise anybody to avoid doing business with this company. Even for a car dealership, this business is grossly unethical. I did screenshot the entire process given my past experience with this company and will upload this documentation if necessary.
