My 2019 **** Escape is still under the ****** power train warranty. On 4/21/2022 the engine light came on and the vehicle began smoking. I spent $200 to have the car towed off the side of the road. The car was towed to Lucas **** on 4/26/2022. On 5/16/22 I received a report from the dealership that the vehicle is in need of a new engine. This is the second engine replacement the vehicle needed. The same issue occurred 7/2020. Although I received this report it is not an "official diagnosis." Although my car is under warranty and I am still making monthly payments of $400/month I have not been provided with any temporary loaner vehicle. As per various customer service reps from cooperate ****, I will not be eligible to receive a loaner car until the car is diagnosed. ***, from Lucas ****************** provide me with no time frame as to when my vehicle will be looked at to diagnose other than "months from now"I have tried to have this vehicle transferred to an alternate dealership but have been refused as other service departments do not want to take on such an extensive repair.In short, I have been left without transportation for over four months with no solution in sight. I work as a registered nurse in our local emergency department and do not appreciate the difficulties and stress that have been added to my day to day as I struggle to get to work. I am eager to receive help in holding this business accountable.
