    I received a Debt Collection letter from RTC Financial Services on 1-27-25 for a parking violation in ***************, which I have never been to. I called the company and spoke with a Representative and explained this. He told me that even though the ticket had NO license number on it I would be required to provide proof. When I objected (now thinking it was a SCAM to get my license and license plate number) he hung up on me. And never called back as he promised should we be disconnected. I believe this a scam, but I called the number on the debt collection letter so not sure at this point what to do.

    On behalf of RTR Financial Services, Inc. (RTR), this is our response to the above referenced complaint. *** has been referred an account by our Client for the owner of a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse with VIN number ending in ****; the basis of the debt is a Violation for a Citation for an Expired Tag.
    Based upon the Vehicle information provided by our client and our research, *** ****** was listed as a registered owner of the vehicle in question.  RTR sent a letter on January 13, 2025 to *** ******* advising her that we have been retained to collect the violation.
    On January 27, 2025, *** received a call from *** *******during which she stated that she was not the registered owner of the vehicle at the time of the violation. We have subsequently verified that *** ****** was not the registered owner on the date of the violation and have corrected our file accordingly.
    During the January 27th phone conversation, an individual in the background on *** ******* end of the call became verbally abusive. **** policy in the case of verbal abuse or use of profanity is termination of the call. **** **************** agent announced his intention to terminate the call and then did so.
    *** has had no further contact with *** ****** to date. 
    No information has been reported to any credit bureau. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    I am not liable for this debt with ************* ********** of ******** I do not have a contract with the collection agency RTR Financial Services, Inc. They did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.

    On behalf of RTR Financial Services, Inc. (RTR), this is our response to the above referenced complaint. The ************* ********** of ******* placed with ** a Traffic Violation account for *********. RTR sent a letter to ********* at the address provided by our client advising her that we had been retained to collect the traffic violation.

    On 7/18/23, RTR received a call from *********, during which she stated that she was aware of the debt and that she intended to make payment as soon as possible.  No information was requested from RTR during this call.  To date, RTR has received no further communication nor correspondence from ******** regarding this account.
    RTR has verified with The ************* ********** of ******* that the Traffic Violation we were seeking to collect was valid.  ******************** in her 9/19/23 complaint references verification procedures that are not relevant, as Traffic Violation debt is not subject to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

    We have not reported any information to any credit bureau.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    I received a letter stating that I owe money. I tried to call the number on the letter and it puts me on hold and then disconnects the call. *** left a message and have nor received a call back. I would like to know what this debt is in reference to.

    On behalf of RTR Financial Services, Inc. ("RTR")this is our response to Complaint ID# ********. RTR has been referred an account for ******************** by our Client to collect the amount due for emergency medical services provided to her on April 15, 2022.RTR sent a Validation Notice on June 14, 2023 to *******************, at the address provided by our client, advising her that the balance due for her April 15, 2022 visit had been placed with our company.
    On the morning of June 26, 2023, RTR received an incoming call from ********************,during which she stated her intention to make payment in full for the account in question. Later that same morning, RTR received notification of this complaint filed by *********************
    RTR has subsequently spoken with ******************** and is currently discussing with her a resolution to the account.

    In January of 2023 I received a phone call from rtr financial about an overdue bill from ****************** for $10.00. I also received a letter. I paid the bill and I have been requesting a letter stating that the bill is paid. I've called several times and I still don't have the letter. They verify my address and say give it a few more days.

    On behalf of RTR Financial Services, Inc. ("RTR")this is our response to the above-referenced complaint. On January 20, 2023,RTR received an incoming call from **************** regarding an account referred to RTR by our client, ********************* During that call, **************** requested that an itemized bill for the account be sent to her.  RTR obtained the itemized bill from our client, the hospital, and on January 27, 2023, the itemized bill for the account was mailed to the address provided for **************** by our client.  On February 3, 2023, RTR received an incoming call from ****************, during which she stated her wish to make a payment of $10.00 to satisfy the account.  On February 9, 2023, ****************** Credit Card was processed in the amount of $10.00 and on March 3, 2023, **************** called RTR to request that a payment confirmation receipt be mailed to her.  On March 5, 2023, RTR mailed a payment confirmation letter to **************** at the address provided by our client and verified by **************** during the March 2nd call.  On April 6, 2023, **************** again contacted RTR by phone and stated that she had not received the payment confirmation letter that she had previously requested.  An RTR representative advised **************** that if she did not receive the letter soon, RTR would be willing to re-issue the requested confirmation. RTR received no further direct communication from *************** but on May 9, 2023 received this complaint via the BBB Website.  As of the date of this response, RTR has re-issued written confirmation of payment/debt satisfaction to **************** at the address on file for her in our system.     The business is very unprofessional. it was impossible to receive a receipt for any payments made. They give you the run around. and the phone is never answered.

    On behalf of RTR Financial Services, Inc.("RTR") this is our response to the above-referenced complaint. On March 1, 2023, an RTR representative, assisting ****************** by phone,processed a payment on her behalf via our client's website. Later that day, ***************** contacted RTR by phone to state that she had not yet received by email any electronic payment confirmation receipt from the clients website for that transaction, and provided an email address to our representative.  On March 2, 2023, RTR obtained and emailed a copy of the receipt to the email address ****************** had provided.  On March 3, 2023, a customer service representative followed up with ****************** by phone to confirm her receipt of that email, which she confirmed during that call.     I have received multiple voicemails from this company, not even calls just voicemails. My phone never rings I just get a notification that I have a new voicemail. It is a sinister robot voice in slow motion that is telling me This is RTR Financial service group please call ****** at ************* I am sick and tired of being harassed by an automated voicemail. I want this spam junk caller to quit calling me.

    ****************** owes a debt to a client of RTR Financial Services,Inc.  We sent her letters on April 22,2022 and August 22, 2022, which provide all the information regarding why we are attempting to contact her.  Neither of the letters were returned to us by the USPS.  Please note that due to the nature of the debt at issue, we are precluded by law from providing more detailed information to the BBB.

    RTR attempted to reach her by telephone nine (9) times over an eight (8) month period at the telephone number she provided to our client.  She did not return any of our telephone calls.
    Based upon ****************** request, we will no longer attempt to contact her by telephone.

    If ****************** would like the details of the debt, she may contact us at ************ or toll free at ************.  Our office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9am to 8pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm Eastern Time.
