**** ***** was my sales person. He came to my home for a consultation about adding solar to my home .. he ran my credit and informed me I was denied .. we discussed the possibility of my paying for the first half of the cost in cash .. they send me an invoice .. I was trying to wire the money but I could now so I put a down payment of 5000$ on my credit card .. the very next day another company came and gave me an estimate ran my credit and I was accepted .. I decided to go with the company who would finance my project and not have to dish out ****** $ I informed the salesman of this Upon his return from his vacation 3 days later.. and now he tries to tell me that the consultation was not free and that they would keep most of my 5000$ I then turned to his supervisor Alexx and he assured me that my funds would be returned .. he said they would send a check for 4000 then a few days later later 1000$ After weeks of waiting I called to inform him that the money did not arrive .. he simply hung the phone up on me .. then I received a bill from the company stating I owe them the 5000 dollars because of the consultation .. I believe that we all know this not to be true and that I have the right to change my mind about using a solar company who is expecting ******$ from me in cash .. please I implore you to kindly return my funds this has caused me numerous hardships and my next step is to file a claim in courts I will not allow ***** and his supervisor to misappropriate my funds nor punish me for not moving forward with this company .. they are resorting to plain blatant lies .. I suggest we end this ridiculous situation and not allow it to go any further .. i expect 100% of my money return ASAP THANK YOU MUCH ***** *****Business Response

I believe that I was overcharged and got ripped off by this company. They did a presentation about solar, roof and mini splits. I was approved by two different companies, one for $75,000 and the other for $124,000. They took the $124,000 and used it all up for the project. When I asked for an itemized bill, I was told that my contract is my bill. I was told that I would be paying $400 per month and after everything was done, I am paying almost a $1000 per month plus my regular con Ed ***** They misinformed me to get my business I know that I was ripped off.Business Response

Dear *** *************** you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. At ATTYX, we take customer satisfaction seriously and strive for full transparency throughout our process.
We understand that you were approved for financing through two different lenders, and ultimately, the larger financing option was selected to cover the full scope of your project, which included solar, roofing, and mini-split installations. Prior to moving forward, our team thoroughly reviewed the project details, costs, and financing terms with you. Additionally, after signing, you participated in a recorded welcome call with the lender, during which the loan details were confirmed, followed by a second welcome call with ATTYX, where you also confirmed the total loan amount and project details.
Regarding your request for an itemized bill, the contract you signed outlines the agreed-upon scope of work and pricing, serving as the official documentation of your project costs. If you need further clarification on any aspect of your agreement, we are happy to review it with you.
With respect to your monthly payment, the financing terms, including the loan amount, interest rate, and payment schedule, were provided to you before you proceeded with signing and again during the welcome calls. While we strive to provide accurate estimates during the consultation, the final loan terms, including the monthly payment, are determined by the financing institution.
We regret that your experience has not met your expectations, and we are committed to addressing any outstanding concerns. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at ************** or ********************************************************.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[Your Answer Here]
The business did not provide the cost of the project until after the project was completed. As originally stated, I was approved two different amount and they used the highest amount for the project. After the project was completed, I received an email from Enfin with the breakdown of the monthly payments which is $957 per month for the first 18 months and then $400+ thereafter. ******* explained to the ***resentative I spoke with that this was not what me and the sale *** had discussed. He advised me to contact the sale ***. ******* contacted the sale *** who then stated that he doesnt remember the agreement we spoke about. ******* then requested an itemized bill and indicated to him that they should take what the project cost and return the balance to the creditor because I know it did not cost $124,000 for the project. That was my last communication with the sale *** because later that day, I received notification that from now on all correspondence should go to someone else. ******* then contacted the new person and requested an itemized bill and was informed that my contract is the bill. *******f I had seen the bill with the payment amount, I would not have agreed to this.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

ATTYX also known as SUNCO installed our solar panels in (3/2/2023 Date of transaction). They have failed to submit the necessary forms to receive the real estate tax abatement. At this point ATTYX formally known as SUNCO needed to submit form PTA4 before MARCH 6. We started this process back in 10/2023. My last call was 2/28/25, I was told conflicting information; at first I was told form (****) was sent in January to department of buildings. When I mentioned I had been to the department of buildings in January/2025 and was told they hadn't received it, the customer service ************************** said it was sent in February/2025. There have been many emails sent back and forth, to say this has been exhausting and deceiving is an understatement. I have visited both the Department of Buildings, and the Department of Finance several times now confirming that they have not received completed forms from ATTYX. This has to be in by March 6.Business Response

In July 2024 I was presented with the offer to go green with Solar panels. The business (ATTYX) committed to me paying $167 monthly for 9-10 years at 27k for the Solar panels as a project. However, I was issued a bill at $225 and advised by a bank this will go up to $306 in 14 months. I was given no knowledge of this bank or that ATTYX took out a loan over 100k for the project. I never agreed to a loan nor two loans as there is another bank requesting payment for what ATTYX took out. They used deceptive bait and switch practices and I would appreciate the matter be looked into, as I am 64 years old and feel they took advantage of me greatly. Everything proposed for the project, which has yet to be completed was misrepresented to the fullest extent. Please help. The company has not provided a solution and we even received a letter from the bank the loan amount was incorrect but that has yet to be resolved. To my knowledge the bank and ATTYX are working together. I received a letter they were looking into the complaint but an additional letter, within the same month, stating the complaint was closed. Also, within this project they offered to replace our roof and upgrade our electrical all included as part of the project deal. They never mentioned the loan or that those included amenities would be at our expense.Business Response

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. At ATTYX, we take customer satisfaction seriously and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the details of your solar project. Prior to signing the agreement, the details of the loan, including the monthly payments, were thoroughly reviewed with you. Once the agreement was signed, a recorded welcome call was conducted to confirm the loan details, during which you verified that the information was accurate.
Furthermore, the ATTYX contract you signed includes an audit trail showing the email address to which the contract was sent and verifying that it was signed from your email. This documentation supports that all terms and project details were disclosed and agreed upon before moving forward. We understand that there have been concerns regarding the project's progress, and we want to assure you that we remain committed to completing the work as contractually promised. If there are any outstanding issues related to the scope of work, we are happy to discuss them and work toward a resolution.

This business installed solar panels without my authorization after multiple attempts to cancel. They lied to me and told me the solar panels would be free and paid for by the government. They also said I would pay no more than 200 a month for the service. My monthly payment is over 500. They also forged my signature for the loan. They are saying it is an electronic signature which I never authorized. An employee from the solar company came to my home on Oct 15th stayed for hours to try to convince me to install the panels. I truly feel like they took advantage of me because of my age.Business Response

Dear *** ************* appreciate you reaching out regarding your concerns. ATTYX strives to provide transparent and professional service to all our customers. We would like to clarify that while we advertise our services as having no upfront out-of-pocket costs, we do not represent our projects as free. A loan is taken out to cover the cost of the project, and government tax incentives are available to help reduce the overall cost and monthly payments.
Prior to moving forward, the loan terms were reviewed with you, and the necessary agreements, including the ATTYX contract, were presented for your review and electronic signature. After signing, you participated in a recorded welcome call with the third-party lender to confirm the loan amount and details, followed by a recorded welcome call with ATTYX to verify the loan amount and project details. In both instances, you confirmed the information was correct. Additionally, our records include an audit trail confirming that the contract was sent to your email and signed electronically. ATTYX did not forge any signatures, as the electronic signing process was completed by you.
As the project has been completed, we want to assure you that we remain committed to assisting you in any way we can. If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at ************** or ********************************************************Initial Complaint

My husband and I responded to an ad in March 2023 for solar panels by the government at no cost to us. The salesman, ***** Mogul, who visited our home and surveyed our usage and needs, presented us with a project plan that sounded very positive and lucrative. He asked to see our Con ** usage for the previous year to determine how much we use, and how many panels it would take to maintain our current status. At the time, our average bill was approximately $172.00 per month. He assured us that 7 panels would do it but "threw in an extra, just in case". He also convinced us that it is advisable to do a new roof (although ours was in good condition) because we didn't want a potential problem in the near future. The roof, too, would not cost us money. At the conclusion of that meeting, he left very optimistically with our signature on his IPAD and reassuring us about getting all the paperwork done, including all permits. We didn't need to do anything. We trusted him and got majorly SCAMMED.We are both senior citizens and we got entrenched in this fraudulent loan from ****** which in all likelihood is a subsidiary and partner in crime with Sunco Solar. Our monthly payments began April 2024 in the total amount of $402.00 which is way higher than our average Con ** bill was. This loan is for 25 years!!!!!!The Sunco company used our electronic signature in unauthorized capacity to procure this loan. We are of sound mind and body and would NEVER take on an energy bill for 235% more than it was costing us.We absolutely cannot afford this ******* the way, the representative made sure that we rate his one and only visit before he left. You can see it on 3/17/23 under ****** *. He walked away with 5 stars knowing that he just scammed another couple!!!!!Business Response

Dear *** ******************* you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We take customer satisfaction very seriously and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the details of your solar project.
ATTYX designed a solar system based on your historical electricity usage with the goal of offsetting your energy consumption. While solar energy can lead to long-term financial and environmental benefits, we want to clarify that our contracts explicitly state that we do not guarantee savings on utility costs. The project was advertised as having no upfront out-of-pocket costs, meaning there was no initial payment required to begin the installation. However, it was not presented as entirely free, as the cost of the system is financed through a loan with a third-party lender, in this case, Mosaic.
Prior to signing the contract, the terms of the loanincluding the monthly payment amount, loan duration, and available solar tax incentiveswere discussed with you. These details were then confirmed a second time at the point of contract signing. Additionally, following the signing, you participated in two recorded welcome calls: one with Concert, where the loan terms were reviewed and confirmed, and another with ATTYX, where we reaffirmed the total project cost and system details. During both calls, you acknowledged and agreed to proceed with the project under the terms provided.
We understand that the transition to solar energy and its associated financing can sometimes be complex. If you need assistance in claiming the available solar tax incentives, which can be applied toward your loan to help reduce monthly payments, we have resources available to guide you through the process. Please let us know if you would like our support in this regard.
If you have any further questions or concerns, we are happy to assist you. Our team is committed to ensuring that all of our customers have a clear understanding of their solar investment, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Starting on June 4th 2024, ATTYX through Enium Capital Group of Georgia came to my house to propose solar panels with the option to provide a free installation of a new HVAC system. A sales representative got in touch with me about this solar panel/HVAC offer. My brother (as my witness) and I listened to the ATTYX ******************** which was very misleading and fraudulent! He sold me this solar panels/HVAC offer under false pretenses and I am very upset with what was promised and presented as opposed to what I received. My HVAC system was out of commission and needed to be replaced and found this offer online as an advertisement stating that they would provide a new HVAC system, if you allowed them to provide solar panels on your house. Of course, my brother and I thought the solar panels would help save money by eliminating our electric bill and having that replaced with just the monthly, financed cost of the solar panels. This was not the case and again was TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED AND FRAUDULENT!!! Please help me with resolving this problem and I have documents and a witness (my brother) to prove my case in that this was a fraudulent misrepresented offer. I have been in !touch with the original ATTYX Sales *** and Project Manager with no satisfaction to date. I cannot afford to pay $400+ for my electric bill, when it was a third of that before the solar panels were installed. Please reach out to me with any other information needed and will be happy to provide whatever information is additionally needed. Thank you ahead of time for your assistance, since it is greatly appreciated!!! **** *******Business Response

Dear Mr. ***************** you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding your recent solar panel and HVAC installation project. At ATTYX, we take customer satisfaction seriously and want to address your concerns directly.
We strive to ensure transparency throughout our process, which is why all project details, including the scope of work and financing terms, were thoroughly discussed before you signed any agreements. After signing the agreement, a recorded welcome call was conducted with the third-party lender, during which you confirmed that the loan details were correct. A separate welcome call was also completed with ATTYX, where you verified the project details and full project cost. These steps are in place to ensure that every customer fully understands their agreement before moving forward.
Regarding your concerns about your current energy bills, its important to note that your solar system was installed during the winter months when solar production is naturally lower. As we move into spring and summer, you should see increased energy generation, which is expected to provide greater savings. We understand that transitioning to solar can bring questions, and we are here to help.
If you have any concerns or need assistance in reviewing your systems performance, we encourage you to contact our support team at ************** or ********************************* We are happy to assist in any way we can to ensure you have a positive experience with your system.
