Previously purchased a timeshare through ********* Resorts. The payment process was taken over by Resort Funding, but I do not get any information from them regarding my account. I would love to receive statements so that I can see the balance still left. The website that comes up does not load a page. It is blank. There is no information on the web for anyway to login in your information to check on the status of your loan.Business Response

I purchased a timeshare thru resort funding inc and paid it off over 20 yrs ago, the release of mortgage was never sent to the state of Hawaii. Since then, resort funding became resort funding llc. The owner and ceo is Lisa H*****, same as the other company. I have been trying to get this document from Lisa and she is not helping at all. In response to the attached complaint, an email was sent to ******* ******** from Resort Funding LLC on January 16, 2024. The email stated "Unfortunately, Resort Funding LLC is not the same entity as Resort Funding, Inc., and your deed is with Resort Funding, Inc.
Resort Funding LLC is not related to Resort Funding, Inc. and cannot assist you with any documents that you need. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but you should be able to work with the title company to determine if Resort Funding, Inc. is an active company and who can execute any document that you need.Initial Complaint

The website for resort funding seems to be broken and I can not figure out how to log into my account to access my payment history, account information or tax statements. When I search for the website several other sites like doxo and pagaloo pop up, but they seem to just be a way of paying on your account and not actually accessing your account information. It's extremely frustrating to have to try to call and talk to a person regarding account information rather than just being able to access what I need online. I have work hours that conflict with their business hours which makes it extremely difficult to call.Business Response

My timeshare through ********* was given to “Resort Funding”. However there is no way for me to reach support. Their website of resorttfunding.com does not work. I have tried on multiple devices and different platforms. The phone numbers do not work. I have waited on “hold” for almost 3 hours and still did not get a rep. The call just disconnected. I’m unable to look up my account information, my account balances or even where my auto draft payments are going. The information that is given to me from my bank redirects me to the same website and phone number that does not work. There is some kind of doxo payment website where you can make a payment, however, without having your account number you have no idea where your payments are going or even a confirmation that your payment went towards your actual balance that again you cannot verify. So you would be making a payment to God knows who. I contacted *********, who the timeshare was originally through, they again redirect me to the same non-working phone number and website. Both ********* and Resort Funding is a scam. They auto draft the amount out of my bank every month and I cannot even get my account information.Business Response
