We hired Robert Wilson in September 2021 to do some repairs to our house. His initial job was to repair water damage coming from our roof, which involved replacing shingles, repairing gutters, installing drains and repairing the water damage inside the house Soon after he started, we realized that we needed additional jobs and added painting and repair of stucco in the exterior front of the house and painting of the garage interior and applying epoxy to the floor. For each job, he wrote a contract and half was paid up front. After at least two and half weeks had passed by, very little work had been done and we had already paid him about $8,000. The roof repairs and paint job were simply awful. The gutter and drains were sloppy and unfinished. He always had odd explanations for his low quality work and we realized that things were getting worse He was unreliable, didn’t show up for days. We decided to fire him and were at least hoping to get some money back, particularly for paint and a gutter brush system that we had already paid for. Unfortunately, he left our home in a rush leaving trash and paint spills behind and, of course, refused to return any money paid to him for unfinished work. We had to contract someone else to redo pretty much everything he had done. Mr. Wilson is not simply inept, and unprofessional, but also unreliable, sloppy and un trustworthy. I hope this warning prevents others from unnecessary suffering and financial loss.
