            On 6/12/23 I took my cat, *****, into see the Vet, because she had been throwing up almost daily, which is not normal. I asked to have blood work done to determine if she had a serious issue like diabetes or kidney disease, which are common in older cats. I was not aware of a change in ownership of the practice, which I have dealt with for years. The billing practices of the new owners are nothing short of gouging people who love their pets. The original ******* practice would charge $85. for blood work, this group charges $405. for blood work! That is a ridiculous increase. It is nothing more or less than gouging. If I do not get a partial refund, I will consider it to be in bad faith and will not take my pets to them again. Also, I will tell all my friends who are pet owners not to go there because they gouge.

            I only gave one star due to it wouldn't let me choose zero. My 15 year old cat passed away at home. I brought him to McBride for cremation services. I specifically told the woman who was handling us that I wanted plaster paw prints, fur clippings, face and paw ink prints along with the private cremation. She wrote it down. About a week later, I received a call from ********** Vet that they had my cat's remains. He was delivered to the wrong veterinarian office! When I called McBride they said it happens sometimes. I asked about the other things I had asked for. I was told by McBride that ********** has them. They did not. After calling McBride again a different woman said that they do have the prints, etc. When I went to pick up the prints and fur clippings, they did not have my cat's face print!!! It was never done. The woman looked it up( she was the one I had told I wanted them) and said that yes they were requested. Completely unprofessional and uncaring that they would just cremate my cat of 15 years without double checking that everything was done that I asked for. This was heartbreaking. I will never go there again!
