      Joseph Hobaica, owner of 123 credit restoration charged me $299.00 to fix my credit, promising a 90 day money back guarantee and my credit score to also jump over 100 points in this time frame. He promises to remove negative items impacting credit, to file complaints with the companies , to remove inquiries, etc.. he has done absolutely nothing and avoids all contact. The few times he did answer the messages made no sense at all. He is a scammer, scamming people with bad to not perfect cresit out of money. Taking advantage of an already horrible situation.

      I paid for credit repair and was not provided any services for my money. They did not do anything nothing was filed or done. Asked for proof of services multiple times was provided nothing. Nothing has been done and they were paid in full and I have proof of payment

      Pd $299 Sept 18 Pd $400 Sept 28 Pd $200 Oct 13 The first amount was for credit repair which he send supporting document showing what actions would come off and a score range of course with a 90 day money back guarantee. Then he talked me into a business builder credit plan for the $400 and $200 pd. I never received any documentation of what was actually done regarding the payment for service. I have never received any updates at all to this date. I get the same excuses of covid or I my secretary will send over. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to being scammed by him. Complete joke of service. Stay far away.

      I signed up in December of 2022. Paid upfront. Said 90 day guarantee. It’s almost March 2024 and absolutely 0 results over 2 years later. Don’t waste your money with this guy. He says he is still working on it and won’t process refund. Hardly answers messages at all. Freaking ridiculous. Not a bbb member but responds to all complaints and says they didn’t pay. I paid. No results. Promised 200 point increase and haven’t seen even 10.

      Joe Hobaica was very available and accessible until he received my payment. I reached out to check the status of my case on several occasions to no avail. He answers questions very selectively and will go cold turkey once you’ve paid. It appears he gets all comments deleted which is a poor representation of who this scammer really is. At this point it is much bigger than the 200 I paid him. He has my personal info and old place of employment. It really sucks that people will take advantage of others in the way this individual has. I’ve enlisted the assistance of an attorney to take him down. At this point all my calls have been recorded and text messages sent up. My husband has hired an attorney for obvious reasons. Pls be very careful with this predator.

      I trusted this company to help repair my credit and help solve some problems with my credit cards I did not want anymore. I got in more debt in a year when I was promised my situation would be resolved within 90 days and absolutely nothing in my score has changed in a year of them servicing me. i never got any proof of anything that why supposedly did help change all my calls and texts go completely unanswered or he will respond like a week or so after. I’m so dissapointed because I was promised to have a better score and get better credit cards, I had to declare bankruptcy because it was that bad of a situation that they put me in. I will never recommend or work with this company ever again. They ruined my life for good.

      Much like the previous complaint below, I came across this thief on ******** (a page of which now does not exist any longer) made contact and was given a 90 day money back guarantee. Made 4 payments of $150 each one for a total of $600. Was given the list of work to be done for this guarantee (90 days) this was at the end of August. I have been given every excuse from in the hospital with Covid, to his kids being sick blah blah blah. Within minutes of the Covid excuse and being told I’d receive a call next week he must have mistakenly called me and he didn’t sound sick. Reassured me that this would be completed. Weekly I would ask what has been done, what was filed and just wanted an update. I would receive nothing. I’ve asked for any paperwork showing what has been filed and to this day nothing has been provided. We are now 4 months in and after I have done research, he seems to have been disbarred and convicted of possession of a controlled substance back in 2008/2009. He has also been removed from the states attorney list. I have filed fraud on my card and this thief has blocked that. He didn’t fulfill his end of the contract and now does not want to refund my money

      I signed a contract with this company that my credit would be repaired In 90 days and it was not. The owner of this company has threatened me numerous times. Everything is documented in text message and voicemail. He stole my money and accomplished nothing and is now threatening to ruin my credit. What a piece of **** company.

      i started working with joe on august 23rd. i paid joe to help me with my credit, specifically with inquiry removals and i also purchased a tradeline from him. turned out he is a scammer and did not do what he said he would do. when i asked him for proof he did any work at all he gave me nothing. when he stopped responding to my messages, i looked him up and found out he was disbarred, went to prison, and has hundreds of clients claiming he scammed them. whenever he would disappear he would always claim it was bc of a "family emergency" or that he was "in court" or that he was "in the hospital with covid" and it became suspicious to the point where i don't believe any of it. now that my fraud protection on my card has agreed to refund me, he is threatening to ruin my credit for the rest of my life even though i am more than happy to have him dispute the validity of it bc he would certainly lose. he also made these threats in writing, which goes to show what an unhinged unprofessional hothead he is. i'm happy to share screenshots with anyone who wants to see them. i will also be sharing them with the NY AG's office. if he follows through on his threats, i'll be more than happy to make sure he is held accountable for doubling down on his fraud. he is incredibly dishonorable and i strongly encourage others to avoid him. if he was simply incompetent that would be one thing. but he is a malicious aggrieved serial liar scam artist who believes he is always the victim and wants to take vengeance upon the people who only want what they paid for, which makes him a total nightmare rather than some benign incompetent service provider.
