I hired Brianna Kallaur as a photographer for my wedding after she reached out to me offering services. I paid $550 (50%) down to book her. I asked for a small session prior to the wedding to get a feel of her style, she suggested that she come to my bridal shower and take photos there, I agreed, and she never showed up. I didn’t get an explanation as to why. There was a few messages before the wedding. I paid her the remaining $550 (the other 50%) the morning of my wedding day. On the day of, Brianna and her partner arrived and she brought her infant son with her (there was no prior discussion of this). Because her son was there, she was having to tend to the child throughout the entire day, which took away from the services. At the ceremony there was very little communication for any family/group/individual photos. Because of that, we have a very slim variety of pictures. Also, her child stroller was parked at the front table (with my parents) so it is in several photos, we had an adult only wedding. The day after the wedding, she sent me through text message about 310 photos after saying she took about 2,000. After that, I would send monthly/weekly messages asking for everything else in the contract and she either had an excuse or just didn’t respond. Finally, after 5 months she gave a very poor quality photo book, 6 printed images, and a canvas to me. The book is 10 pages long, 20 photos inside, some are duplicates. The cover is falling off and the pages were stuck together causing ink to leak on the other photos. After reaching out to her about this, she didn’t offer any resolution, she simply was offended and apologized that I feel the way I do. Also, none of the photos seem edited, it looks like there are photos with filters on them. The overall quality of the images and her performance was awful. I am looking to get a refund for the services I am also looking to get whatever photos she still has (edited or not).

In regards to the customers complaint there are many things left out. I do have two children. A 2 year old and 8 month old. My infant himself is exclusive breastfeed and does not like the bottles. we had tried it once for a night out and it had many problems. New York State provides Laws for mothers. Section 206-C breastfeeding in workplace accommodation law. This is big part of reason as to why my partner would take the pictures while i took 10-15 minutes to feed my child. There were also other children there, my son himself was not the only child. The wedding it’s self that my partner and I had done for ******** was not organized, and no time line was provided, we had kept asking what was next so we knew what to do next as in taking pictures. After the ceremony ******** and her party had gone upstairs and my partner and I waited for everyone to travel upstairs first so we weren’t in the way. once we had arrived upstairs to the reception ******** and her party where no where to be found. My partner and I had walked around the building and asking multiple people where they had gone because we weren’t told where the pictures were being taken. After finally finding the party, my partner and I had offered ******** and her husband to go to other location around to take more pictures to have different sceneries, ******** had stated that they think they got enough pictures. There is no time on when pictures usually get done and edited, she had stated pictures where not edited but I edited each picture she had received. I take my photography very seriously making sure all my clients receive pictures they are hoping for, and all my clients are very satisfied with all my work. I never cap pictures, but if I take 2,000 plus pictures it doesn’t mean that the customer will receive 2,000 pictures. I only send the good pictures. She had stated when I sent the pictures they were great. I also had offered ******** a new wedding book on her behalf of the book falling apart.

In regards to the complaint, I did apologize to the client, and offered her a new book. The only problem was the book due to it falling apart and pages sticking. I would be more than happy to get that done for her.

Better Business Bureau:  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Brianna has blocked me and I am unable to contact the business to discuss this matter. Nothing has been resolved since the complaint was submitted. This is no way to run a “business” and I hope future brides do not experience this service. All I want is what I paid for and the photos, in this situation, the only one who misses out is me and my husband.   Regards,  ******** ********
