    I had a small accident back in early November 2023. My vehicle has been at the repair and I still have not received any notifications on when the repair will be finalized . Currently I live 6 hours away and due to hardships cannot make the trip to inspect the car and facility on this situation. The vehicle is a 2022 ***** **** that I still make payments on . I have left multiple messages for an update with no response! I included a copy of the report for this incident from my insurance company.

    This is a national backorder part.  Unfortunately, we don't have any control over when it arrives.  However, we've in communication with him several times, and I can provide the records to show this if BBB would like.  As part arrives, we will notify Mr. ****** immediately.

    I was involved in a car accident March 9, 2022. AllState is my insurance provider and had a set choice of approved repair vendor. We selected Matthews. The vehicle stayed at tow shop approximately two weeks before picked up my Matthews. I had to call almost daily to get update and push the work to be done. It stayed at Matthews until Friday, July 15, 2022. At pickup the manager Chris B****** and the rep who had been overseeing our vehicle Scott S********* we're not there at time of pickup. The finance person Matt was very dry and unconcerned. He said minimum words including, where's your $500. After paying deductible, I was keys to vehicle. I went outside and the following problems were observed: Pick up Issues: -Tire pressure light on -Not washed and buffed -Engine extremely loud -Steering wheel is turned to right when going straight -Front windshield trim on passenger side is lifting -Glue dot is showing on passenger front door -splatter of something white on window trim on passenger front and back window -front passenger interior door paint near joint/hinge -appears to be a piece missing on front passenger side over tire/door hinge. Clear sight into hood portion of vehicle -blue tape is seen in front grill of vehicle I went back inside and left a message for the manager Chris B****** to call me on Monday or at earliest availability. As of Wednesday, July 20, 2022 I had not heard from anyone at Matthews Collision. I went to the center in person and asked to speak with Scott or Chris. Chris finally came out and asked to go outside. I asked if he was sure because I several concerns and that he probably wanted to write them done. However, we walked to vehicle instead. He observed many of the problems and apologized. He said the he would schedule a time to get the vehicle back in the shop and get a rental for me to drive while it was back in their possession. As of Monday, August 8, 2022 I have not been contacted from anyone at Matthew's Collision.
