Steve Messare installed a sliding glass door with wrong handle and refuses to install correct handle. I have a door with no lock from the outside, making my home unsafe. Steve installed the wrong size door and the door is not flush to the ground, which will not pass code/HOA inspection and the door will need to be re-done. Steve will not provide us with any warranty information regarding the door, and has refused to even cover the cost of a locksmith.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   This still does not address the fact that I have no paperwork on the door that I now own, or the fact that it was improperly measured and needs to be completely taken out because of the giant step going into my house now. It also does not address the fact that I have to pay a company to put in a lock so I have a secure entrance until the new door can be put in and I am out another $5000.   Regards,  ******* ****

As stated and discussed previously before ordering, it is a 6 feet door from **** which does not come standard with a keyed lock handle from the outside. This issue of a lock was never addressed or boughten to my attention before ordering. The threshold is ****** make and comes on all their patio doors. It is to protect from rain, wind etc. I am sorry if it does not meet your HOA code, which also never was talked about before ordering. ****** patio doors are 6ft and 5ft. That is all of their options. You had a 6ft opening, so that is the size that was needed and ordered, installed as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  The door was measured incorrectly, which Steve admitted to when he installed the door and he had to build up the bottom of the door to make it fit into the space. Which was very clearly never even measured correctly because he ordered a standard door for a non-standard opening. This is not about meeting HOA regulations. This is about a door, not meeting town code and needing to be removed and completely replaced because Steve did not measure the door correctly.   Regards, ******* ****
