5/20/2024 I received a call from my grandmother that she received a call from phone number ###-###-#### which is registered to this company who I previously spoke to about this alleged collection. I asked them to stop contacting me via phone and send all communication in the mail. However, the fact that they without permission obtained her phone number which I can only assume was by a google search contacted her. I never provided her contact information or gave them permission to use her number as a means to get a hold of me, They violated my request and then stated that matter was "urgent" which alarmed my grandmother because she became worried something was extremely wrong. I am now forced to file this complaint because they are now calling me which I stated in the past not to. The so called supervisor I've spoken to both times needs to take a refresher course on his phone etiquette because being condescending and not willing to allow a person to speak is definitely not it.

I have the **** *********** application on my phone to block nuisance calls, spam, solicitors and any other number not in my contacts - it is VERY effective. I will not tolerate this company calling me because of being misinformed. Being the second time I have been contacted by collections agencies over the past 6 months both times they did not have the correct information nor the right person. I have NEVER been, and NEVER will be, sent to collections. At the HUGE cost of being homeless on the street 2 different times over the last 3 years I paid on ALL of my debt NO MATTER WHAT. I got 2 calls from Diversified Recovery Bureau LLC on 05/07 at around 4:50 - 5:00PM that were automatically blocked and I'm glad. I have already contacted not only the IRS, but also my credit card companies recently to verify this FACT - I HAVE NOT BEEN SENT TO COLLECTIONS BY THEM FOR ANY OF MY ACCOUNTS AND I DON'T OWE MONEY TO ANYBODY ELSE. Does this company just randomly pick phone numbers out of a hat to call so they can harass innocent people?? Well here's a suggestion - MAKE SURE YOUR INFORMATION IS CORRECT FIRST BEFORE CALLING. DO YOUR RESEARCH. Please DO NOT contact me again as you have the wrong person. Thank you.

I am writing this because this business now has contacted my relatives about this issue instead of getting a hold of me. They also use local numbers and leave messages stating to call a different number. They have also started that I was emailed information from them. I went back to look through all of my emails that I send and receive and haven't received anything from them at all. I go to their web-site to try to email them on the form on their page but that isn't working. The harassing phone calls need to stop.

I've received many calls on my cell phone from a local number (though this company is several states away from me) with company name I didn't recognize. If they left voicemails there was no identifying information as to why they were calling, just to call a phone number. I then received an email, but being that I do not know this company I was hesitant to click any links. This company then proceeded to call my job. I am not allowed personal calls at work and informed the representative of this. He stated that my work number would be deleted from their records. I've been waiting to receive something in the mail from original creditor verifying that they did in fact sell my account to this company, but have yet to receive anything. Today while at work I received a call on my cell but since I was working I let it go to voicemail. They then called my job. What happen to removing that phone number from the file? This is hereby notice to cease and desist contacting me or my job. Until I have written verification from original creditor that this company is who is now handling my account, I will not be speaking with anyone.

The company violated FDCPA by discussing a alleged debt with my elderly mother. There is no legal basis for calling her or “searching” for me The company also called my number but did not identify themselves The company has failed to validate or verify the alleged debt. I have no idea what the business matter is about since they failed to validate the debt in the time allowed under 1006.34 The company is not to discuss the alleged debt with third parties and is to cease and desist all communication with me. They are not communicate with me by any method nor direct third parties to do so. Attempting to collect an alleged debt from me is moot since there is a nearly $700,000 lien on my name feel free to check with the county of record. Additionally my only income is SSD. Thank you

      Better Business Bureau:
This company bold face lied. The first lie they told is they needed to locate me. That is completely false because they have my phone number and I have a recording of them calling my home phone number. Secondly there are not allowed by law to discuss in alleged debt with family members. This is an FDCPA violation. It was especially wrong because they knew exactly what my address and phone number was as evidenced by the fact that they actually called it. The third lie is that they sent anything to my email address. There is nothing in my email inbox from them including the spam filter. Nothing was ever sent.Diversified  Recovery Bureau or any affiliates of this company is not to contact me for any reason by any method nor they to contact my associates. They are not to contact me regarding this matter or any future matters or any other alleged debt matters. Diversified is to cease and desist all communication with me. If there is any further communication I will file a CFPB complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

I am being told that I have a debt with this business, but no one has actually reached out to me to validate whatever the debt is that they are saying I owe. I am willing to work out a settlement if someone could actually explain to me how I owe this company and why I have not received any information from this company about this alleged debt I owe. I called this company, and they told me that they don't even own this debt? Well, why are you requesting a payment from me for a "debt" you do not own. I need someone with some sense to validate this debt and respond to my email that I sent.
