      This business has nearly harassed my mother, calling her personal cell phone and home phone numerous times. I would like for them to no longer contact my family members and associates as this brings a burden to their personal lives. I will deal with the situation accordingly.

      Response:  The company has attempted to contact the consumer to discuss an outstanding debt the consumer owes to the company's client.  In the event the company is unable to obtain contact with the consumer, the company is permitted to attempt contact with third parties, including family members of the consumer, to obtain location information for the consumer.  As a result of the consumer's inquiry, the company has ceased collection efforts, closed the account internally, and has returned the account to the company's client to pursue further collection efforts.  Should the consumer wish to discuss the debt, they may contact our office at ************.

      I have never heard of this collection agency before but I’ve received calls from numerous different numbers, (1 day they called 5 times within 1 hour, and did not leave any messages). They’re calling my family members, and saying that I listed them as a contact or reference. I have never used the people that they are contacting as a reference or contact. This is harassment and I demand this cease immediately.

      The company has attempted to contact the consumer in regards to a debt, the company has been contracted to perform collection activity on.  The company is permitted to attempt to obtain location information for the consumer from third parties, including family members and associates, if they are unable to obtain contact with the consumer.   At no time did the company state the consumer put the party down as a reference but instead requested location information for the consumer from the third parties.  As per the consumer's inquiry, the company has closed the collection item internally, ceased efforts, and returned the account to our client so that they may continue further collection efforts as outlined in the consumer's lending agreement.  Should the consumer wish to discuss the matter prior to any further notation or collection efforts to obtain the monies owed by the consumer to our client, they may contact our office at ###-###-#### to discuss.

      Company is in violation of FDCPA. They have contacted family members of which I do not have contact with nor do I have their personal phone numbers. Phone conversations with those individuals was recorded in stating that I gave them as a reference to contact. As Ohio is a single party state, phone calls may be recorded with only one parties consent. As this is false representation, the request is that whatever this debt is, which is not on my credit report, be removed and charged off and no further collection activity be completed. If collection activity continues, recordings will be forwarded over to the AG. If there is a debt, I request as well, via certified mail, a copy of the written and signed contract, showing proof of said debt and any additional statements and correspondence.

      Diversified Recovery Bureau, LLC was contracted to perform collection activities.  The company is permitted by state and federal regulation to attempt to locate and contact the consumer which includes place employment or third-party contacts.  We have not had direct communication with the consumer to date related to this item.  As a result of this inquiry, the company has ceased efforts to contact the consumer, closed the account internally, and have documented to our client our inability to obtain contact with the consumer so that they may continue further collection efforts to recover the outstanding debt owed to them by the consumer.

      Discovery Recovery Solutions has called me multiple times at work causing disciplinary actions on my behalf. I am unable to have my personal phone at work and personal calls are limited.

      Diversified Recovery Bureau has been contracted by our client to perform collection activity on an outstanding balance owed by the consumer.  The company is permitted by regulatory authority and terms of contract between the consumer and the original credit grantor to attempt to contact the consumer.  The company is permitted to make reasonable attempts to contact the consumer. the place of employment number had been provided, and there was an attempt to locate the consumer.   On 10/22 first contact with the consumer was established and it was expressed that the POE number needs to be removed and calls ceased to the number.  Immediately the number was removed, and no further attempts will be made contact consumer at that number.  Consumer can reach out to establish terms to resolve the debt, at ###-###-####.

      Diversified Recovery Bureau LLC contacted my place if employment that has strict standards on calls being placed to me directly. This is the FIRST and ONLY contact this company has tried to make with me at all. I would expect to have information mailed to me from the company themselves to my home address with details regarding whatever they are trying to contact me for. I do not consent to them contacting my work. I'd be more than happy to discuss whatever business they have me when they handle their business properly and professionally.

A written communication was sent to the address provided on 9/23/2021, once received consumer can contact our office by calling toll free ###-###-#### for further information.

      This company has tried to contact me at my job and contacted relatives repeatedly. And for what reason I have no clue as I have not received any written communication from this company. The representatives are incredibly rude and unprofessional. This is completely unacceptable and a violation my jobs policies. This company needs to cease and desist communication with me and my acquaintances completely or I will consider this harassment.

      someone called me saying I owe 10,000 on a car from 2016 and to see if I wanted to settle today before it hits my credit he gave my moms address which at that time I wasn't even living there. I had not.even took out a loan at the time. He said he was going to send over the documents to my email address so I could review them never did. when I called back he never even answered

      I have already summited a complaint i would like to add that they the diversity recovery bureau said they were sending mail to a address that I had move from 5years ago and I never received anything by mail or email they said they sold my account to another place which when I called they never answered when I did get someone after a couple of days they said hold on and never came back to the phone. so now it's on my credit

      Diversified Recovery Bureau, LLC was contracted to perform collection activities.  This was placed in our office on 1/29/2021 and which time correspondence was sent to consumer. On 8/31/2021 when first contact was made with consumer, consumer requested information.  A Letter request was submitted late that evening to our QA department and sent on 9/1/2021 per the consumers request via email per consent.  On 9/1/2021 consumer called the office several times in morning and throughout day, consumer spoke to several agents including supervisors.  Late afternoon on 9/1/2021 consumer called in again disputing information.  Account has placed on hold, due to regulations pertaining to Validation Documentation Requests.  Once VOD is received from it will be provided to the consumer to review the documentation.  DRB is not a credit reporting agency.   Once information is received the consumer can contact our office by calling toll free (888) 612-3634 with any additional questions or concerns.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I have never received VOD via email as the business is stating.  Please send me a copy so that I may see who they are claiming the original creditor is.  Regards,  ******** *******

      As stated with our initial response DRB must request VOD from our client to be able to provide to the consumer.  This process can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, DRB was not provided the  original documentation at the time of placement.  We received the VOD from the client on 9/3/2021.  Once DRB received VOD it was regular mailed to the consumer due to sensitive information on the original documentation and per policy.  We have redacted this sensitive information and emailed to the consumers email as well as CC’d the BBB to show proof that this was emailed per the consumer request.  However, only the consumer will be able to open the zip file due to a password being sent separately.  This does show proof that the VOD requested has been sent to the consumer in addition to the attached files showing proof that all requested documentation was sent previously.  Once information is received the consumer can contact our office by calling toll free (888) 612-3634 with any additional questions or concerns.
