              I would avoid Baker Residential at all costs. The whole process from start to finish has been an absolute nightmare and has caused major distress for our family. The issues include poor quality, breach of contract, failed design process, and bait/switch sale tactics. Please see below for more details:Poor quality - Home and town inspectors identified dozens of significant construction quality issues including many items not meeting code.Breach of contract - Baker refused to install selections clearly identified in the contract requiring attorneys and court action.Failed design process - ************** failed to include items requiring dozens of iterations and reviews.Bait/Switch - Baker Residential is not forthcoming and is misleading with what they represent. They tried to get us out of the contract and sell the house for a higher price.I would never recommend Baker Residential. If you decide to go with Baker, I recommend having a $50K contingency fund for legal disputes and at least 1 year of extra time for litigation. You are better off going elsewhere.
