    I have been with Fireplace Outlet for 12 years. They service my fireplace every year except for Covid. Becky came out today. She is wonderful. My Fireplace looks brand new. Thank you

    Purchased a wood burning insert, install started in 12/22. Apparently owner measured wrong and at time of install it was determined they needed an offset pipe for proper installation. They grinded down supplied trim piece, jammed it into place and ordered offset pipe. instead of new chimney cap, they mangled the one I had to make it fit. When I questioned that, they said they had to reuse it, then went on roof and spray painted it black, as it looked like a hack job. Appx. 6 weeks later, they came back with offset pipe to finish installation. Owner questioned what happened to trim piece and I explained to her that her guys grinded it down to make it fit. She said we needed to order another piece. Fast forward to March 2023, owners husband shows up to finish installation, says he knows nothing about a new trim piece. Proceeds to further grind down existing trim piece then spray paints it black. I told him this was unacceptable and we wanted it done right. Blew us off and said he'd have owner call me. Needless to say, owner never called me or answered my numerous emails to contact me. Totally ghosted us. 5 months later and still not done. Needless to say, stay away from this company. Total bunch of amateurs, total hack job of installation. Horrible communication and customer service. Will most likely have to file claim in court to recoup some of my money. Beware.

    ****, Mistakes were obviously made. I did in fact forget about ordering you a new backer panel after we realized it did not need to be modified. We needed to reuse your original cap because you have a Air Cooled Chimney and we need the lower portion of the cap to allow it to continue to function properly. A new cap was then installed on the lower portion of your modified cap for the new venting system. I realize that this has been neglected and I personally apologize. I will get the new backer panel in asap and get this resolved for you. Thank you for your review. It shows us where we still need to improve. Becky

    We called Fireplace outlet because our 20 year old gas log fireplace wasn't lighting. Becky had us send her a picture and walked us through getting it working again. She didn't try to sell us anything but was an incredible help! Her customer service is phenomenal and I will be a loyal customer in the future. Can't say enough good things!

    The people a Fireplace Outlet are extremely helpful. They solved a problem I have had for 9 months. Instead of offering a new unit, they tightened a loose connection. Now the fireplace works perfectly. They are fair, punctual and highly skilled. I cannot say how delighted I was to find them.

    I have been working with getting a project finished by this company for months at this time. After they installed gas logs and a gas insert they overcharged my account by $1,000 and then took nearly a month to have the problem resolved. After they refunded my overpayment there has been further communication issues as the job is not finished in my basement, (a surround needed to be ordered) and after we have been told that there were shipping and delivery delays - on July 15, 2022 we received a voicemail from Becky indicating that she would be following up with us the next day for further follow up. We have still not heard from Becky or anyone at the company and have called numerous times asking for the status of our order. This is delaying further work that needs to be completed at our house and at this time we would just like to know if the surround has been ordered or if we need to find another company who can complete this job. We completely understand that there have been significant delays related to product delivery due to COVID and my complaint is directly related to the lack of communication from this company.

The replacement surround you requested was on a manufactures backorder for longer than either of us expected or wanted. I should have given you more frequent updates. Regarding the refund, our policy is a 24 hour issuance. I'm not sure why that did not happen in your case. I'm sorry if is cause you any undo hardship. We will install the new surround at your earliest convenience. I hope you can accept our hearth felt apology.
