The Process is very very slow. The attorney tries to bulldog you down on decisions, He's willing to do what you want but doesn't really seem interested in your opinion and things you have caught along the way. When you call you will hardly ever here back from them. Sometimes for up to a month. I have called and left messages and finally after waiting to see how long before they called back ( ie...a month) and they will have some information I understand the process takes a while but at one point i was just going to switch attorneys and suddenly i was getting more information and the case was moving again. .William Mattar Law Offices

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the delayed response, as we just became aware of your review. As it was not visible to us until today, we are working with BBB to determine what the issue may have been. We take all feedback seriously, and we would have preferred to address your concerns right away. We truly appreciate your feedback and regret that your experience fell short of the standard we strive to provide. We understand how frustrating it can be when communication and progress don’t meet your expectations. While some delays can stem from the nature of legal processes, we recognize that prompt updates, clear communication, and respect for your input are essential. Your concerns about feeling unheard and the responsiveness of our team are important, and we take them very seriously. We’d like to better understand your experience and address any unresolved concerns. We invite you to contact our Attorney Manager, David R****, at ###-###-#### to review your concerns. We are sorry to hear that you are leaving a negative rating. Our team has been diligently working on the lien that is on your case, and we explained that we must follow regulations and do so. When you asked if we could 'just ignore it' and we explained that we could not, you told our team you were going to leave a bad review. We take our position seriously and must follow protocol to resolve cases properly, especially when liens are involved. We kindly ask that you remove your review, as it is unfair to post against us when we are following the law and acting in your best interests.Review fromDorothy P

Every single person at the William Mattar law firm makes you feel like you are a part of the “firm” family. The receptionist is knowledgeable and knows the right questions to ask to get you to the right person to help you. The paralegals are such hard workers; making sure that they have all the latest and up-to-date information and applicable laws pertaining to your claim. My lawyer, Brandon, was the best. He advocated vigorously on my behalf to ensure I was fairly treated and that my voice was heard Never hesitate to use this firm if you are looking for the best law practice!!!William Mattar Law Offices

Horrible. I had a very bad accident got t-bond by another driver. And I had a pre-existing back injury, but the accident made it worse. And because it was not a big settlement case. William Matar did not want to have anything to do with it. To busy with his big cases to bother with a small case. He didn’t want to bother making sure I got what I deserved for my car. This guy is only interested in lining his pockets with more green. Don’t let him deceive you because he seems nice. He’s only being nice because you are paying him millions of dollars. If you don’t have a big enough case this guy wants nothing to do with you. Very rudeWilliam Mattar Law Offices

When a person initially contacts us for representation, dollar amounts are not the make or break factor of accepting a case as you are insisting. Our team specifically asked about your injuries and did not focus on dollar value. We examine the circumstances to determine if we believe we can help, and we have the right to reject any case for a number of reasons. We rejected your case, in part, because you are still being treated for a previous injury. Additionally, you need to go through your car insurance to reconcile damages to your vehicle as that is how auto repairs are handled. We are sorry to see you become so verbally abusive upon our rejecting your case. We hope you will find a legal team to work with who can successfully fulfill your expectations.Review fromJOHN

I was rear-ended and had neck and back injuries. I called William Mattar and their team was very kind and helped me through the process. When you are injured by someone, it's frustrating because you did nothing to deserve the pain, doctor's appointments, bills coming in, and the resistance from no-fault insurance was maddening. Even though my case settled, I am still getting treatment rejections from no-fault. Before I hired William Mattar, I saw reviews from other people and quickly realized that if you are a realistic person, you appreciate the help offered to you. And if you are one of those people who are never happy, you will find fault with those trying to help you. There are ads on TV hyping car injury representation and making you think there are millions of dollars available for each accident, which is so not true, and the people that do get big money were probably in cases up against a company or heavily insured defendant, and with such horrific injuries that the higher policy amount was paid out. If you are hurt in a car accident, you first need to be realistic. There are laws and parameters that law firms and insurance companies both have to follow, and MANY parties are involved in any case. The William Mattar team navigated all of that for me, kept me calm, explained the process to me, and ultimately was able to bring some justice to the situation. I have to give credit where it is due and these people care about helping others. I'd rather be in the hands of people who care than people who look at me as a number and a dollar sign. I felt like I was family working with William Mattar.William Mattar Law Offices

Worst mistake I've ever made, incompetent to be polite. They will respond with a laundry list of how cases are complex, a 1st year law student could have handled this case. I have all the documentation to verify what I'm saying. Becareful closing them, it's your settlement that's in jeopardy.William Mattar Law Offices

Mr. *******, you reached out to us earlier this year to say you were not satisfied, and we responded, asking you to contact us so we can address your concerns. We do not see that you have done so. Once again, we care about your perspective and would like to discuss why you were unsatisfied with our team. Please call our Attorney Manager, Dave R****, at ###-###-#### and he will be glad to listen and address your concerns.Review fromRobert W.

1 starI had a major MVA in November of 2021. I hired this law office as I sat in the hospital after the accident. Now, I have severe damage from being rear ended at 60mph while at a stop while the driver was texting. My injuries will require multiple back and neck surgeries that will fuse multiple disc's. There are also multiple injuries to my neck which are inoperable that involve nerve damage and crushed root nerves. This wasn't some fall on a sidewalk, this case will settle for a very large amount. Since they were my attorneys of record, I have NEVER spoken to an attorney and have no idea WHO they even are. When I call to speak with him, I get some paralegal, that knows ZERO as they are not an attorney. I'm okay with this, however, I expect at MINIMUM, one phone call or in office visit in 7 months ffs. They stood to make hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees off my case and started the settlement process before even being fully diagnosed...with nothing more than a letter in the mail. I fired them this morning and they didn't even seem to care one bit. For the record, I have called their office 4 times in 7 months so I was not annoying them or anything. I would not recommend them to anyone I know as I feel they are just in it for quick settlements and not concerned whatsoever with how their clients are feeling or asking about any issues that may have cropped up since the last time they spoke to a client. I've had better attention given to me by Nigerian email scammers trying to get a few hundred dollars from me than from William Mattars law office that stood to make 6 figures off my case. Personal attention is important to having a trusting relationship and if my lawyer is too busy to even speak to me ONCE in 7 months, he don't get my money. Period. My new attorney was tripping over himself for me to come to his office and speak. Thats already more than WM offered me in 7 months.
