      I went to Dr. ********************** in June as a returning patient to get a new breast augmentation. I set a date for the beginning of July gave them a check of $500, signed some papers and was just waiting to get cleared from my doctors.. They knew all my previous medical history as I was on blood thinners and baby aspirin due to a brain aneurysm About 10 months prior . My Neurosurgeon would not clear me Since I cannot come off the blood thinners and the baby aspirin due to medical reasons. I have been calling since June to get a refund of the $500 with no answer back from anybody. I went through all the paperwork Given to me by Dr. ********************** staff and there was nothing that states they wouldnt issue a refund if a doctor didnt clear me. They did, however, state that they have a no refund policy and this as well is not in any of their paperwork . I call at least two or three times a week with the promises of a phone call back that never comes emails that never get returned. I am very disappointed as this was out of my hands, I thought I was in the clear, but after another procedure with my neurosurgeon, I have to wait a bit more time. In my opinion, they should never book a client and take money without a medical clearance!

      I had 2 surgeries scheduled on March 28th 2024 with Dr. *********************** a breast augmentation and a blepharoplasty. The total cost was $17,000 and I made a $7,500 deposit. The remaining $9,500 I financed with Alphaeon, the credit company that *********************************** signed me up for during the meeting with their Financial coordinator. In order to move forward with the breast surgery, a mammogram is required. I am 33 years old and have never had a mammogram before. *********************************** recommended PURE Mammography in *********, **. They issued the prescription for the mammogram 3 days before surgery on March 25th. I was unable to book the appointment until the prescription was issued.During the mammogram they saw I had dense breast tissue so they needed to do an ultrasound. During the ultrasound, they found a 2cm irregular mass on my right breast. Further evaluation with a guided biopsy was recommended. On March 27th (the day before the scheduled surgeries) *********************************** called me to reschedule. I was in tears on the phone because I thought this meant I had breast cancer. I did not care about the surgeriess, I only cared about my well being. They did not sympathize with me or care about my state of mind. Instead, they asked me if I would like to still move forward with the blepharoplasty on March 28th. I said no. I was in no condition to undergo eye surgery while knowing I had a mass on my breast that required a biopsy. I asked them to cancel both surgeries.On that same day March 27th they canceled the $9,500 loan from Alphaeon. I received email confirmation of the refund. However, they did not refund me the remaining $7,500 balance that I paid out of pocket. I called back to inquire about the refund and they told me that the $500 consultation visit was non-refundable, but the $7,000 needed Director approval. I haven't received a call back in 3 months. I call their office every week asking for updates, but the Financial coordinator is always busy.

      They keep sending me advertisement emails. Their emails and website do not have an area where you can unsubscribe. If they do have an area they make it very difficult to find because I cannot find an unsubscribe link. I have called the office and told them to take me of their email list and they will not do it. I want to be taken off their email list.

      I contacted ********************************** to make an appointment for my mother (*************************), for a plastic surgery procedure of the neck. The appointment was scheduled by **** ****, Patient Coordinator for July. A deposit was required but not yet charged to the credit card. However, given a medical condition that my mother developed and diagnosed by her general doctor, I contacted ************************ patient coordinator (**** ****), to cancel the appointment some time in April/May and explained the situation. When I spoke to **** ****, she assured me the appointment was cancelled and my credit card wouldn't be charged. Yet on June 2nd I was surprised with a charge to my **** credit card ending on **** on the amount of $515. I immediately contacted **** **** and questioned why I had been charged given the appointment had been cancelled. She assured me I would be reimbursed. When a week passed and I did not see a refund, I continuously contacted **** ***************** than 10 times about my refund and her response was that the business office director (accountant) was reviewing my charge. Since then, 5 months have passed and as of yet I have not received my refund of $515. Attached you will see my bank statement and the charge with a transaction # ***************** for the amount of $515.00. The issue here is that I should have never been charged given I cancelled on time as confirmed by **** **** and now they are refusing to refund my credit card. On top of that I've had to pay interest charges to this charge. I'm requesting full refund for the charge and interest accrued as a result of this charge.

      I scheduled a Cellulaze procedure with this office for 06Jan2023. I paid $5000 for this procedure. Due to worsening underlying health issues, I was advised by my doctor to cancel this procedure. I did so on 03Jan2023. The office spoke with my doctor who verified this claim. The office said they would not offer me a refund, but I could use a credit for future services. The contract I signed cites a $2500 rescheduling fee if a procedure is canceled within 2 weeks of the scheduled date. That amount is the fee laid out to cover the cost of the nurse, anesthesiologist, etc. Since I paid $5000, I requested $2500 back. My request remains unanswered by the executive director. I understand the need for a medical office to protect itself with a cancelation policy, but I find it unethical that they would keep $5000 in the case of a patient who has canceled for a medical reason.

      I had breast scar revision surgery 10/7/2022. I paid in full $****. The Dr ****** filed my insurance for over **** supposedly to get me reimbursed. The insurance paid 80 percent equaling 2, 227 dollars less than than the ****. The company was paid on February 6. I was calling up to last week and was told that it was processing still. I left many messages with the billing person and the owner for a return call. I have not received a call back. The insurance company has left 3 messages and they have not received a call back. A coordinator who schedules the procedure not the billing person called with no apologies for their misrepresentation and said you have to pay 558 because that is your deductible. I feel this is insurance fraud because I paid them in full. They did not bill me but are taking the money that they cashed already

      *************** to complaint ID ********. **************** saw ******************** for an elective cosmetic procedure. The patient was scheduled for an abdominoplasty. The scar revision of the bilateral b****** and abdomen was to be billed to the patients insurance carrier. The patient was charged $10,000.00 for the abdominoplasty, and we collected upfront $2,500.00 for the scar revision (breasts & abdomen) to be applied toward any out-of-pocket insurance responsibility. The patient would be refunded accordingly once the claim was finalized. 

      The carrier received our claim for the date of service, 10/07/2022, for $9,733.99. We billed the claim using the 80th percentile of ********** Rates per GEO ********* as the provider, ***************************************************, is an out-of-network provider. The claim was processed on 02/23/2023 under claim number *************. Cigna allowed $2,767.38, and they applied $553.48 to the patients deductible and paid the provider $2,213.90. The patient is due $1,946.52 as we are reimbursing her the $2,500 less the amount applied to her deductible of $553.48.  I have attached the explanation of benefits outlining the above.

      I made a payment on 7/7 for an abdominoplasty surgery to be done in 7/19. I received a call from the doctor performing the surgery saying that they will be cancelling due to allergies to anesthesia (which is a medical reason) on 7/15. I requested for a full refund on the same day. Under their policy if the cancellation is made due to medical reasons the refund can be issued. I have medication allergies and the surgery was not rescheduled because the surgeon to facilitate the procedure was relocating to another state. I requested for a full refund and received the deposit fee back but they kept the $9500. On my receipt it is for the abdominoplasty which was not rendered.

      This office did not give me an appointment time--they gave me a day (7/20) and told me they will call me 24 hours before to schedule a specific time for the appointment. I never received a call or message. The office proceeded to charge me a cancellation fee. The appointment was never confirmed by me since I did not speak to anyone. The day of the appointment I finally got ahold of the office they said to come in 2 hours. It was not possible to make it to the office in that time frame, hence I was charged. It is strange that they are giving appointments day of and expecting clients to be there.
