On January 3, 2022, we paid $3,320.69 for a piece of marble slab as shown in the photo called ****** Dolomite. We had agreed to this piece of marble at this price point because we like the finish of the grey ****** and the blend of the grey and white. When the marble piece was delivered, it was a completely different slab in pure white, with damage to the top. I had 2 inspections done and it seems like they used a damaged slab with Filler. we have contacted marble works many times and on April 8 they responded ""We used the other end because the purple lines were actually open fissures and that couldn't be used on the counters."This was NOT what we had agreed upon and not what was in the contract. All of our attempts at outreach have failed and they stopped answering completely. This is a violation of fair business practice and consumer protection. We paid the high premium for this piece of marble and they used a completely different slab of marble than what was agreed and sent us a damaged piece instead since they had 100% payment. We would like them to refund or replace the marble.
