Current Alerts For This Business

Pattern of Complaint:
A file review was performed due to the number of complaints we have received for this business. For the three-year reporting period, Survival Constitution, LLC has received 289 complaints. 265 of the 289 complaints were received within the past 12 months.

Consumers Allege:
1- Unclear Subscription Terms: Many customers report confusion over the terms of the subscription, particularly around the free item with paid shipping. Consumers feel they were unknowingly enrolled in a subscription or did not clearly understand they were signing up for recurring payments.

2- Difficulties with Cancellations and Refunds: Customers have trouble canceling their subscriptions and retrieving refunds, especially if they were charged multiple times. The company’s refund policy is perceived as restrictive, only offering refunds for 60 days.

3- Unexpected Charges and Repeated Billing: Many customers claim they were charged multiple months despite not intending to subscribe, leading to frustration. The recurring charges are often seen as excessive, with customers feeling they were not given clear information about ongoing payments.

BBB strongly suggests that Survival Constitution, LLC considers reviewing the internal policies and procedures due to the increase in BBB complaints.

Survival Constitution, LLC may benefit by:
1- Clear Subscription Disclosure: Make the subscription terms highly visible and explicit during the purchasing process. Use bold text, checkboxes, or pop-up reminders that outline the subscription details and recurring charges, ensuring customers can easily understand what they are signing up for before completing their order.

2- Streamlined Cancellation Process: Simplify the process for customers to cancel their subscriptions, ideally with a one-click option or automated system that makes cancellations straightforward. Additionally, provide a dedicated support channel that can promptly assist customers with cancellations and refunds.

3- Refund Policy Revision and Communication: Reevaluate the 60-day refund policy to offer more flexibility for dissatisfied customers. Consider extending the refund window or offering partial refunds for customers who didn’t understand the subscription terms. Clearly communicate this policy upfront and in follow-up emails to ensure transparency and reduce confusion.

I ordered a calendar for $9.95 on 1/20/2025. Within two weeks my credit card was charged $57. My credit card company alerted me to the charge, and I denied it. I had to replace that card with a new one. Now today my new card was charged $57. Again, my credit card company alerted me to the charge, I denied it again and now must have a second new card sent to me. I NEVER would have agreed to a subscription from this company had I known in the first place. This is an extremely deceptive practice. I left the company a voicemail today demanding my name and credit card information be removed from their system immediately. I have yet to receive the calendar that I ordered.

The Trump Wall Calendar offer you ordered was packaged and advertised as including a 14 day free trial to The National Self-Reliance Initiative, formerly known as Science of Skill Academy, which became a monthly subscription. This was described in the offer and on the checkout page along with the Welcome to the community email you receive with the link, username and password at the time the order is placed.

I've canceled the subscription for you.

Good day, I purchased 2 knives from this vendor for $12.95 on Sat, Jan 25 at 5:33 PM. I received products and then said vendor proceeded to try to debit me the 57 dollars that they would charge me for a membership subscription before the trial period ended. I also went to their website and opted out of said subscription before the trial period ended and they could then automatically charge me. Within a couple of days, my bank contacted me stating the company Science of Skill, LLC. or ********************** attempted to charge me $57.00 for a subscription I never applied for. I should have noticed it earlier, when I could not sign in to their site to inquire about this gross error. Now they're continuing to harass me by trying to debit me the amount I just stated. My bank wants me among other possibilities, to void my card which I feel is unacceptable. Please help me; I couldn't help but notice the many other complaints from people like me being filed against this vendor as well. I've attempted to contact them about this with no response. This "subscription" is something that I never authorized or would even want, thank you. ********** ********

January 15, 2025 I ordered a free calendar from this company paying only $9.95 for shipping. In the small print survival constitution said I would receive a 14 day free service and then $57.00 a month for this service and you could cancel anytime. I received no calendar or no free service for 14 days. Since around the 20th of January and within the 14 day trial period and since then, I have been unable to speak to any person from this company. I left many messages cancelling this unauthorized service. No one has ever called me back. I have at least called 30 times to no avail. I wrote to the company through their contact email canceling this unauthorized charge, to no avail. I have sent an email from my personal account to them as well, to no avail. I am again demanding that they release all of my information from their data and billing base. I have not authorized any payment of $57.00 in the past, present or future to this fraudulent company. I am demanding that they refund all charges that have been made against my credit card, including the shipping fee since I never received the so called free calendar. Thank you.

I ordered a whiskey tumbler for $9.95, and since then they keep trying to charge me $57 every month. I have read other complaints and there was NO notification of subscription to The National Self-Reliance Initiative. No refund is needed because they have not received any additional money from me, but I want the subscription cancelled and for them to stop trying to charge me.

This just happened to me : I ordered a Trump whiskey glass, which I was told would only be a $9.95 shipping charge, no charge for the glass. I did receive the glass. Then, 2 weeks later, a $57 charge appeared on my debit credit card! I reported fraud, debit card cancelled and now emailing you. I looked up other complaints, and it says there is a bogus subscription, to which I was NEVER told about and do not want! I refuse to pay $57 monthly for a bogus subscription that I never agreed to, nor was even told about!

I ordered a ***** whiskey glass for a roommate around Jan 21st for the amount of $9.95. I was unaware that at the very bottom of the page it said i would be charged after 14 days. I ordered a calendar from Survival Constitution and only had to pay $9.95, which they deducted from my acct on 1/21/2025. Now they are taking $57 from my acct but I have no idea why. 2/1/25 I received a charge on my debit card of $57. I had ordered an earlier item for $9.95 which had already been deducted on 1/18/25. I have not requested any other items and I'm demanding a credit back on my debit card for $57 immediately.
